I don't know how it works because we had to go back and buy the sleeve which has to be ordered and reinstall it...Poor communications all around from Best Buy and LG...It's probably a good deal if you paid $350 or so. Not so much at $500 plus...

To help your unit work smoothly once it's set up with the sleeve, it’s really important that everything is secured and sealed in the wall. Just double-check that the sleeve fits snugly and that any gaps around the unit are sealed up with weather-stripping to keep air from leaking out, which can affect how well it performs.
