Defective Machine - Squealing

After a month or so of use, this machine has started doing a high pitched squeal during the agitation cycle. I have contacted LG support several times and they have sent out multiple technicians. The machine is still squealing and I was told there is nothing they can do. Definitely this machine is a lemon and they haven't offered to replace it even under warranty. I would not recommend buying this washing machine.

It died 11 months after the warranty. An honest appliance repair man told me that a new one was one $200 more than the repair cost. I got another one because I would have had to replace the dryer too if I didn’t. It is way too fancy. There are settings for everything. There should be 3. 1) Light Load 2) Medium Load 3) large Load. Just make one that last 7 years. Not 30 setting combinations.

VERY LOUD WASHER

It also doesn’t get stains out of clothes, no matter what cycle you set it on.

Laundry often smells worse after washing

We use the recommended tub cleaner monthly and leave the door open for it to dry out. We are able to get our clothes sort of almost mostly clean by adding a pre wash and extra rinse to every cycle, but now it takes 3 hours, and our clothes are still not as clean as they were with our last washing machine (which was also a front loading HE machine from a different manufacturer).
