Like that is has some built-in apps and a true web browser. A big improvement from Toshiba HD TV I had with limited smart TV functionality.

Excellent TV set
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a good experience with LG sets in the past and like their panels a lot (plus the fact that they are manufactured in-house). IPS technology allows for great viewing angles and color calibration was almost spot on (too contrasty for my liking, but easily tweaked). This is a "smart" TV, with mostly intuitive user interface. Once you connect it to the internet, you can use your existing Netflix and Hulu (and other) accounts to watch the shows. Firmware updates, when available, are downloaded and installed automatically. 120Hz frame refresh rate makes a big difference for watching sports - everything appears crisper and life-like. It also has somewhat of a downside: most of the movies (and TV shows) which are recorded at cinematic rate (i.e. 24 fps) would appear as news footage or "home video" (for the lack of better expression). Basically, they rely on the motion blur to create a cinematic ambiance - and with high refresh rate it's gone. Not something that I lament, but something to consider if you plan as part of a home theater setup (i.e. for watching movies).
