We were not planning to buy a TV for ourselves, but quickly decided that it would be a good time to purchase as we found a TV with a very good reputation which seemed to fit all our needs. The picture and sound are outstanding. Everyone is happy with the choice.

It is not a "Smart" TV but with all the other technology connected to the TV I had no need to spend the extra money for the bells and whistles. Very glad that I opted out and went for this TV. I got it on sale which made the choice even easier. The bad: The remote is rather annoying to use, the button size and placement is awkward. Strange complaint but turning a light on just to see where a certain button is.. The sound is alright if everyone in the room is quiet, any added noise and the TV quickly fades into background noise. The good: The things that make a TV a TV.. Price and picture!

After comparing LG - Sony - and Samsung, I decided on this set. I like the aesthetic look and the size is just what I wanted for my great room. The picture clarity is excellent. I can actually navigate my way through the various features. Having HD is wonderful! Have particularly enjoyed golf, sport events and movies. Our local channels are HD now, so I can enjoy network shows as well.

Bought this tv for my game room and I love it. It works great with Apple TV, Xbox one, and the wii. The display is beautiful. It was easy to set up and wall mount. Happy with my purchase

Overall the TV is great! It mounted fairly easily to the wall, and has a great picture. The cable menu shows up very small, so you have to squint or move closer to read it well. Not sure if that's the TV's issue or the cable.

I have 3 other LG TV's, and this new 47" gives me the same excellent performance as the others have. Picture is great, LG has good quality and info, at fair price.

We bought this TV as a Christmas gift for our 18 year old son. He is into video games and had just purchased an XBOX One. He claimed he "needed" this new TV because the graphics would be much better than his old one. We didn't really think it would make much difference, but got him the TV anyway. Wow, the difference is huge! The picture quality is amazing. Connecting to the XBOX was a breeze and he loves it. This TV is great not only for gaming, but for regular viewing as well. We would recommend it.

TV purchased to replace an older model from another manufacturer. It is a good product for the price paid. Had a few problems setting it up with color quality, but now that it is up and running, it is good.

TV was very easy to hook up, it's simple to operate-my 5 year old can pick his favorite show on Netflix in no time flat! The picture is great. I just wasn't impressed with the sound. You'd definitely need additional equipment if your looking for more of the theater experience, but for general home use, it's a great buy!

We bought this as an out of box item and were a little scared that it might not be very good. But when we hooked it up I couldn't believe how nice the image looked!! It was a very sharp image!!

This TV is great. I wanted a basic Monitor that is 46 -48 inches. The picture is great. The only issue is that if you have lights on in the room and view the tv from close to 180 degree angle, there are red blue and green lines. I use it with my Roku, Xbox and over the air and the picture is great. It would be great if the 2nd HDMI connector were not on the side of the TV.

I have purchased my TV since 2 months ago, and I have not had any problems with that. Everythings from picture resolution, speed, quality is good

This is my first LG and can proudly say this is a solid TV. I have this on my patio and it's overall a great TV. It's surprisingly lightweight, uses very little electricity, has a great picture and good volume. The light reflects off of the screen too much for my taste, so the mount I have it installed on lets me tilt it up to limit the reflection. Plus I got this on sale for $100 off the regular price. Get your hands on one if you are looking for a good LED TV.

Purchased for my mother to replace a Panasonic plasma that quit. She loved the picture quality compared to the others. Still has a great picture and my mom still loves it after a year!

Picture quality is excellent. Light weight makes hanging on wall mount easier. Could have more HDMI ports.

I have bought many LG TV's in the past. Always seem to be well priced with very clear picture and good sound for a flat screen TV, something cheaper brands don't offer..

This is a great bedroom TV. The picture is beautiful, and it integrates well with bluray or other components. This is my second LG, and that's for a reason! A great value at a great price.

Love LG TVs. Menu's are very intuitive, picture is great, sound is loud when needed, and all my components hookup nicely. Purchased online with Store pickup and saved an additional $100 on the in-store price. I am not a fan of Best-Buy and the staff or the feeling of the store, but the price was great and the store pickup easy, fast and no need to deal with the staff. I first tried to go with the Samsung Smart TV, but the Samsung browser is still painfully slow, and unless a compatible wireless keyboard is connected it is very difficult to navigate. My choice is still to hookup my laptop via HDMI to surf the net and stream video. Only negative is the lack of an RCA Audio output jack, this TV only have the optical audio jack..which is newer technology, but my wonderfully 20 year old Sony receiver does not have that technology...the adapter cost $40, and another $20 for the optical wire itself. But this is definitely not a reason to back away from this TV. LOVE IT!

The sales person was very helpful with purchase and price match. The TV was very easy to carry with a little help.TV was easy to get out of box and easy to set up.Once TV connections were made properly I was treated to a wonderful HD picture.I didn't even have to really adjust settings because the picture was so good as is.I did have to update cable box because this quality TV made old cable box in need of an up-date.

Very good TV at a very good price. I was looking for an LED for the family room so I could put my older LCD in the basement. Picture quality is excellent, colors are vivid and sharp. I use the TV for movies and sports and I really love the picture. The sound quality is good but not great. I am very happy with this purchase
