Excellent tv for the price as I bought it on sale. I can't comment on sound quality because it is hooked up to external speakers. I have it placed in a screened in area outside which is why I bought the LED. So far very happy with it.

We bought this TV for our Mother who never had a Flat Screen TV. She loves the Picture Quality and the ease of use. She relied on her children to get her a TV that she would like and LG gave us a product that did not let her down.

This TV is an excellent product at a really good price. The 47" screen is really nice, which offers a larger viewing area but at a price that is affortable. The setup was easy and the ease of use makes this purchase a no brainer.

Great picture, color, decent sound. I was very impressed with the set-up--it walks you thru, with a great layout. It is connected wirelessly, using ROKU 3 and an indoor antenna which has allowed me to drop cable tv.

I feel rich with this wonderful TV! I had a larger television which couldn't begin to compare for clear picture quality and beautiful color . Very happy with this purchase and the great service provided by Best Buy.

Perfect tv if you not looking for a smart tv. Me personally I have a ps4 so it comes with most of all the smart features so for what I was looking for in regards to picture and size I couldn't be any more happy

Great t.v. but I wish it had a nicer remote. You have to be very precise where you point the remote in order for it to work. This is the only bad thing I can find wrong with this product. GREAT PICTURE!!

Great picture and sound but electrical panel broke at 4 years old. This TV was about $500 and the fix was estimated at $350. Very disappointed at LG - terrible for it to stop working after such a short use.

I purchased TV for my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. They previously had a 32" Sharp Aquos so this was a 15" screen size upgrade for them. The following comments are from my son: "Pros: Great picture. Handles movies, sports, and all types of media, even on the most basic settings. Still images or motions are no problem. Cons: Slightly slower boot-up than other TVs. Limited plug-ins for other devices, but there are enough for me. You NEED a receiver if you have more than two devices." Overall they really like this TV. Hope this helps.

Purchased this TV for our living room. Was super easy to set up, and light weight. Love the picture quality and sound quality! Also, we feel it was a great price for the size and quality.

Our first LG was a 42" LCD with a swivel base and great stand alone sound quality, purchased at an independent custom audio/television store in 2006 for $2,000.00. For it's time it was an advanced set that finally gave up the ghost in March of 2014. WOW. Although a beast by today's standards, that set was picture perfect and rock solid for eight plus years. So, I had to have another LG in the house, to keep our LG refrigerator company.

Great TV for the price. Have seen more expensive tv's that couldn't stand-up to this model. The picture quality is suberb and the setup was very easy. All in all a great television!!

The initial setup was easy to follow. The most important thing for a TV is the picture quality and it was good compared to others in this size category. I did spend about 30 minutes trying to make adjustments to the picture but ended up going back to the defaults mainly because this is not a primary TV. The sound quality was adequate but fortunately we had a sound bar we were going to hook up to the TV anyway. Also, it was by chance that our sound bar allows multiple HDMI inputs we can use to output to the TV's only 1 HDMI input. If you have a Satellite/Cable box and a blu-ray player or game console, you will be out of luck with only 1 HDMI input.

This TV has a good picture quality, even on standard-def programming, and a wide viewing angle. Sound quality is reasonable, but a home theater enthusiast would probably want to add a sound bar or external speakers. The stand is not as sturdy as I would like, though this has not been a serious problem for me so far. It's not a smart TV, so you need a separate connection thru a media streaming device or web-enabled Blu-Ray player to access Internet content. I wish it had 3 HDMI inputs instead of only 2.

the tv is a fine product for its size and price. it is easy to set up and fits a smaller room.

I would recommend this TV to others. The 47" screen is wonderful and the picture is great. My only complaint is there are not enough connections to add my tuner and DVD.

This TV is great, it's literally on all day long since we live in an apartment complex and have a small dog who frightens easy when he hears noises outside, so the TV helps to drown that out for him. After almost two years I've had no issues with performance.

Purchased to upgrade bedroom from a 32" to 47" screen. Couldn't be happier about picture quality, weight of the unit, and its price. Best Buy is stocking a winner here.

I love this TV. I did a lot of research before I bought this TV and have been very pleased with it.. LG is a great company I now own 3 LG TVs and love all of them. The sound is good. People complained a lot about the sound quality and while it still isn't as good as a home theater system I have no issues with it. The one major issue I have is there are only two HDMI ports. I have a 32 inch LG that has three HDMI ports so your telling me by adding 15 inches to the TV size they had to remove a HDMI port? Doesn't make any sense to me. Even with the HDMI issue I have had zero regrets buying this tv.

Great size tv to game on and watch movies. I love the fact that it has the super expensive picture quality and a reasonable price. This is because it does not have "smart" technology which I am not interested in. I have other devices I use for that. It does need at least a soundbar and sub to complement this great picture. That's the only downside
