I meant to out 5 starts on the washer and dryer. LG never disappoints

We've had this washer for less than 3 months and the drum is already banging around during the spin cycle. I wish I was allowed to upload a video with this review of how loud the banging is and how much it shakes with just a small load of light clothes as seen in the picture. I am very upset with this product, a washer should last longer than 3 months.

This washer has leaked from the day we purchased it! We usually love LG products but this washer is leaking enough to ruin the new floors we just installed . Not sure what to do…. Weve installed new water hoses etc, but can’t figure out where its coming from

This machine has lights letting you know what settings it’s on but it’s not lighting up everything for you to see if it’s on hot, cold or warm

You sold me a bad product. I don’t like. I will never buy anything at Best Buy again.

The LG 5.0 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Stackable Front Load Washer with 6Motion Technology is a great washer with plenty of capacity for large loads. It cleans clothes thoroughly while using less water and energy. The 6Motion technology handles fabrics gently but effectively. It runs quietly, is easy to use, and the stackable design saves space. Overall, a reliable and efficient washer that delivers excellent results.

Had to get a new washer and dryer back in May of 2025 and decided to go with a front loader. I researched for about month before I decided to go with these LG washer/dryer. Even though color is not an issue for me, it was neat to be able to get a colored set. I am so used to white, so I went with gray (it says black, but it is not). I have never had or used a front loader before, so getting this set was new for me. I am a little scared that issues will start soon, as I had purchased an LG stack washer/dryer back in 2023 and it broke at only about 2yrs old. So far with this set I have been able to clean it with no issues (the filer thing in the washer is easy to remove) I leave the door open right after a load is washed so mold doesn't build up (great so far). A surprise to me is that there is noise when turning on, selecting a cycle, pressing "play" and this thing plays music when a load is done. Scared the crap out of me the 1st time that happened. lol. I had to have my son shut that off as it is annoying to me. lol. I got the pedestals to go under the washer & dryer as I am 5'5 and have a bad back, so the less bending I can do the better. ABSOLUTELY love having the pedestals! Oh the area where you load the soap, those pieces remove easy and I have had no issues with soap residue being left behind. (I do not use softener and I use powder laundry soap). The ONLY issue I had, was that there was like this weird plastic-y type smell from the washer that lasted about 1-2ish months. I have never had that with a new set before, so no clue if that was normal or not.

So far all is working fine. The drum is bigger than our old one and we are enjoying that as well. Very easy to use with straightforward controls. Especially like the fact that we were able to put our old dryer which was not an LG on top of the new washer as it still is working fine.

Product is great. Installation was great. Washing machine replaced a 20 year old Kenmore front loading stacked washer exactly like this one. LG dryer stacked on top. Installation team unstacked the dryer. Replaced the washer and restacked the dryer. It has been running like a dream. Old one had drain pump issues that were serviced and kept recurring with really bad smelling clothes. This new one is quiet, fast, easy to use and hopefully goes for another 20 years without needing any service. Love LG products.

Excellent machine and excellent customer service. I lied that day at that is digital. I’ve been using this washing machine for a few months now, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance. It’s incredibly quiet, efficient, and gets my clothes perfectly clean every time. I love how it uses just the right amount of water and detergent — great for saving energy and being eco-friendly. The different wash settings are easy to use, and even bulky items like blankets come out fresh and spotless. The spin cycle works beautifully, cutting my drying time in half. From online ordering to pickup, all worked out seamlessly. In fact pickup was earlier than originally estimated. Fast and friendly customer service that loaded washer into vehicle. I’m grateful. The model I chose is very roomy and quite during cycles, It’s settings are simple and easy to use.

I purchased this for my parents and it was an open box. It was in great shape and works amazingly. They love it with not issues. They really love the large drum because you can wash more clothes at once.

The washing machine is excellent! It has all the features we need, works fine, and sturdy. The buttons aren’t complicated to use or anything, and even though this one doesn’t have the steam function, the clothes are warmed up after each cycle. The only reason it’s missing a star is because the value for money- we’d saw this machine being under $650 used or when bundled, that when we bought it for >$800, it felt like I was ripped off. Basically we bought a ~$700 machine at $800. There was also a 10% rebate from Best Buy when signing up for the mybestbuy credit card that we haven’t got yet. When it was delivered there was a small dent near the back of the machine (that also adds to the missing star), but luckily I had compensated LG customer service and was compensated. Overall, this is a quality machine to get, but at this price tag, I’d recommend waiting for a coupon/deal that saves you $50-$100 before considering (if you have the time to do so) (PS: We’d only had this machine for a month so can’t speak for its longevity right now, but so far so good).

It's a nice washing machine for the price but it started making my clothes smell like a wet dog after only a couple of weeks, which I don't understand because I leave the door and laundry dispenser open and dry the rubber gasket with a clean cloth after each use as I know mildew and bacteria can build up if it doesn't have enough air flow. It's very quiet and cleans my laundry well. The presets are easy to use and it's nice that you can adjust them. Nice unit. Happy with my purchase, minus the wet dog smell...

This is the second of these LG washers that I have purchased because I love the one I have the other place I lived ! Easy to use and does a great job . Stays clean and doesn’t get smelly.

There are fancier models, but this was within my budget and I just needed something to get the job done to wash my clothes and this washing machine does a good job. I would say the best thing about this washing machine is that is pretty quiet and efficient.

I've been using this washer for about a month. I have no complaints! It has been running like a dream and cleaning clothing. Operation is fairly self-explanatory. Just push a few buttons until you figure it out. I'm super excited about the access to the filter being located in the front. My previous washer had to be unassembled to clean that dirty thing, and it was a serious pain!
