Amazing quality, beautiful picture. Relatively simple and straightforward to set up and use

This was my selection for a big screen TV after a great deal of research. I am completely satisfied with all of the features and and color and picture are fantastic.

Since I had this TV I have been so please with it. It does everything that it is supposed to do. Love the smart function web 3.0 is just fantastic.

LG really did themselves proud on this one. I've been doing LG TV's for the past several years, and have kind of hated their SMART interface. Well, this TV fixed all that. It's easy to navigate, intuitive and rather nice looking. As for the TV's picture, well, all I can say is WOW! In UHD, it's just beautiful. It's like having a window into whatever you are watching like it was real life. The 3D is also fantastic. Given LG's passive 3D capability (no powered glasses), you lose some resolution, but on this TV, you'd never even know. My only issue, as with every LG TV I've bought, the SIMPLINK isn't always as reliable as I would like. But I'm used to that so it doesn't remove any stars.

I had an LG 55EG9600, the "best of 2015" model first, and exchanged it for the LG 55UH8500 because I was concerned about the ramifications of the EG's inability to decode DolbyVision HDR in the future. With the 55UH8500, LG promises compatibility with either HDR format, and it does not degrade much with off angle viewing. So, this TV is great for a bright room, and when I play COD and other split screen games on the Xbox One with my son, we love the "Dual Play" 3D technology. The biggest negative with the set is the "local dimming." All of the reviews that I've read to date do mention that this results in sub-par picture quality in a dark room, and they are right. I just do not see a better option without paying double the price.

Tv works great how ever remote needs to be replaced after two years and has issues working with my denon sound bar

Good tv. Easy web access. Picture was disappointing especially with sports. Not a bad tv, but there are better in this price range.

The picture is so clear, it's like looking through a window with no glass. All movies and TV shows look fake, you can tell that they're filmed on a set, most shows look like the 70's soap operas. Hard to describe how good it is. The 3D function is great, it's all great..

I absolutely love my new LG TV. When my wife & I went shopping for a new TV, we only knew two things for sure - we wanted it to be 55" and we wanted either an LG or a Samsung. Originally, we were looking at the 55" LG 4k that is like $800 so that we could save some coin....but after reading reviews on that one, I just didn't feel confident making that purchase. After some more research, I ended up enjoying the reviews that were already posted for this TV. Boy, am I glad that we spent that extra money! SO WORTH IT. I have had multiple people over to my apartment since I got it & my TV is the first thing that they make a comment on. I always pull up 4k YouTube videos to stun them with.

My first 4K TV. The picture looks great. It takes some time to get used to because show you used to watch look much different. And watching 4K content on Netflix and Amazon is amazing. User interface is fairly intuitive. And great for the price.

This UltraHD TV is the perfect size and has the features I need right now. I read the reviews online at Consumer Reports (you have to sign up to be a member to view these) before going to a Magnolia in-store Store at my local Best Buy. I was impressed at the quality of the service I received, too. The staffperson answered all of my questions and helped me pick this one out. I was tempted to go with another set that had more features, but, it was correctly pointed out that these features weren't all available anyway and I could get lots of "great viewing" now at a great price. I plan on upgrading in 203 years. I had it wall mounted (outside service, not Best Buy) and it looks amazing.

Beautiful picture that upscales the source to be the best possible. Only issues I found is the OS3.0 doesn't support flash and LG Video and Tv app locks up, so don't use it.

This model LG 4K Ultra HD TV provides an excellent picture. There are many additional capabilities that we rarely use so the value for a more savvy user is even better.
