Like me, I’m sure many of you are “Techies”. I have been doing research for awhile now on my next TV. I feel like I know my stuff when it comes to TV’s, especially for gaming/getting the best picture possible. There is a reason the C7 is widely referred to as the best TV on the market. Words can not explain the amazing picture OLED offers. 4K Netflix and Amazon look great. PS4 Pro 4K HDR looks great, and I have not had any burn in. I saved for a long time for this TV and it was money well spent. It completes my Man Cave. If you can afford it (yes it’s pricey), buy it.

I am constantly looking at TVs and for the last 2 years have been looking to replace my Panasonic Plasma. My problem with LCD's &LED's is the refresh rate, motion blur, and lack of a pure black color. (Samsung's QLED is not the same technology)This TV solves all of those problems. The picture is unbelievable, no motion blur for sports, and pure black without a "fuzzy gray" that you notice on LED's. In addition I have surround sound and a AV unit, but the regular surround sound on this unit is very good. More expensive than the LEDs and QLED but well worth it.

The picture on this tv is just amazing. True blacks and vibrant colors. The only thing I have a slight complaint about is the audio sync with my soundbar. For my cable I have had a hard time getting the sync to where it is acceptable. It is still not perfect but I did not buy this tv to watch cable on anyway. I have my xbox one hooked up and Destiny 2 just pops on this tv! I love it.

This middle of the range LG OLED tv has the same picture quality as their top of the line model, in a more compact frame. This is. your best value in an OLED tv The picture quality is fantastic for movies or sports, just make sure to turn off all the useless noise reduction features. To really get an appreciation for the incredible sharpness of the picture and depth of black shades, connect to a high-speed internet connection (50mbps or higher) and use the built-in netflix or amazon apps to stream 4k HDR video. You've never seen anything like it on a TV before. The "magic" remote w/ pointer (mouse-like controller) is very handy, and the applications - netflix, amaazon and the like - load rapidly, no delays like on my tivo box. One underrated, but nice feature is the minimal frame around the screen and no annoying light-up logo on the front of the tv.

You need to mess with the picture settings to get it exactly how you like it, but once you get there....amazing. I've never seen such vibrant colors. The HDR seems to work great, but the Dolby Vision didn't look good on Netflix. Not sure if it's Netflix or the TV. Probably Netflix. I'm not a big fan of the remote control, the cursor that you can't manually turn off is annoying, but I can deal with it over having a wonderful tv. The interface is awesome and all the apps seem to work great. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have seen a lot of 4K TV's but the LG OLED's are the nicest I've ever seen. The contrast is phenomenal and much better than you'll find on any standard LED display. Blacks are pure black and whites are pure white. 1080p content looks phenomenal on Blu-ray and better than native 4K content does on lesser 4K screens. The tremendous native 4K is the best I've seen.

I knew I wanted this model for my house since we down-sized and the 55" wouldn't be too overwhelming in the living area. As far as picture--best TV I've ever owned!! Great picture, easy mounting, set up and I love it!! Sound is o.k. for built in speakers; I'm currently looking at different soundbars to pair with. Purchase experience was excellent--no pressure, they matched a competitor's price out the door and was easy transaction. I was a little disappointed that I had to wait about 10 days for delivery, but overall a great experience.

After researching several OLED TV's the LG 55 inch TV hit our price point exactly. (The 64 inch was considered, but we decided to save the $1000 difference). We are VERY pleased. The 42 inch plasma screen that it replaced won't be missed. The picture extends to the end of the screen (no border taking up space with no picture), the color is crisp, the resolution is great. The blacks are black - DEEP black. All in all, a great TV. The Internet connectivity is a terrific plus as well. Well worth the purchase!

This TV set has the best picture quality i have seen on any TV. LCD does not even come close. Got it at a great price. It's a smart TV so I have it set up to control my cable box, Blueray player, Apple TV and turn on my Steam Link all with the included Magic Remote. The builtin apps for YouTube and Amazon Prime are good too. The WebOS interface is easy and fast to navigate. But this TV is for the picture quality, and it supports all the latest HDR standards. Great price even compared to the higher end LCDs.

What a great TV! Awesome picture and color, vivid contrast, and the detail is amazing. The picture options can be a bit confusing, but once you get the hang of it you can customize your experience based on what you are watching. I also purchased the LG SJ9 Sound Bar with it, and let me tell you, the sound is incredible! Everything you hear and see seems to wrap around you, like you're the guy behind the camera. It is a match made in heaven! By far the best TV you can buy right now for the price.

If you can afford an OLED TV over a LCD I would highly recommend it. Best contrast in the industry gives oled the most important advantage over leds by far. Another advantage is the PQ from it's entry level to it's flagship is the same. LEDs can't claim that. Take a deep breath open up the vault and make a withdrawl you wont regret it.

Beautiful picture. Rich colors, total black. I don't care about sound from the speakers, since I'm using a separate audio setup, and either use the HDMI ARC (audio reverse channel) or an optical TOSLink. WebOS takes some getting used to. It's decent, but I could imagine it being better. It's kinda slow, and feels a wee bit clunky.

I bought this to replace a 10+ year old Pioneer Plasma elite (which was one of the best pictures available back in the day). The picture on this tv (I have directv) is just incredible. I was deciding between the 55" and the 65". I realized that I could get the high end LG sound bar AND the 55" for less than the 65". Since my distance from sofa to TV wasn't that far away, I'm very happy with the 55" and the high end sound bar. OLED is just great.

When I researched TVs for our household, LG's OLEDs consistently were considered the best quality. There are very nice TVs for half the price, even with Price Match and the like; honestly, this is more quality than we non-videophiles need. Yet the contrast is outstanding, the best I've ever seen, and the colors are solid too. My wife also appreciates the style, that it's so thin on the top half, and the black bezels. For us, black over silver was worth the premium over the B7.

There is a reason this LG was at the top of the lists all 2017. Even when watching non-4K content the color, picture, and contrast are amazing. The magic remote (Wii style) is nice and easy to use and makes working with the WebOS, Netflix and Prime Apps a breeze. Only Con is the internal speakers so don’t bother and make sure you have good audio gear to go along with this amazing picture.

I really have no complaints. I absolutely love this TV. There probably is better TV’s out there but you could not tell me that after taking this TV home. From the picture quality to the functionality of the OS and remote this LG has won me over. I am enjoying this TV and would have one in every room of my house if I could afford it.

This is the first time I researched and read reviews instead of just buying whatever TV was on sale, and I am so glad I did. This TV has the clearest picture and is so intuitive and easy to use. I could not be happier. The Geek Squad people who installed it knew all about all its features and explained them to me thoroughly.

This is a beautiful TV. The picture is rich with amazing depth. I'm no expert, but it's by far best I've owned. And it's amazing how slim the screen is! Of course, it's not cheap, so you have to factor that into the value. Other sets are nearly as good for half the price or less for the same size screen. But if you want the very best at this price point, I don't think you can do better. Setup was easy and the interface is intuitive. Well deserves the 5-star rating.

This TV is pretty amazing. I just keep finding more and more things to love about it. Aside from an awesome picture, ease of use & intuitive features & functions, it has much more to offer. I recently found a feature where you can zoom in to live TV, record and even take screenshots and save them right on TV's internal drive. Great for reading the fine print on car ads & such. Sound quality is good right out of the speakers. Lots of preset options too. I highly recommend this TV.

Ended up getting the LG C7P OLED after experiencing LED TV problems out of the box. Overall I am happy with the purchase. I was apprehensive about image retention concerns but so far there have been none. I am giving it 4 stars because some 4K streaming material does not look as sharp as expected. It might be the settings or streaming quality so it is possible it is not a result of the TV. Picture Quality- Excellent. Believe the hype: Blacks from a clean source look better than my 2011 Panasonic Plasma and the high end LED I returned. HDR performance- 4K Blu Ray excellent. 4K Streaming content quality- excellent to good. Upconversion- Good but not 4K. Remote- I like the Magic Remote which basically allows you to move a pointer in any direction on the screen to choose items versus being restricted to up/down/left/right. However the remote does not have a fast forward button which was surprising. Reflection- Average. I have windows opposite the TV and the reflections are worse than the LED TV I recently returned. Burn in/Image Retention- None thus far. I do not game but do watch cable that can have static images. There is an option to turn off the screen ( but not the TV) that I use often if I pause to go do something else for a couple of minutes. Installation- I found it odd with the recommended orientation of the screen when installing the stand. The good thing is the TV is not huge and it is manageable. Smart TV setup- Good. Most major apps are there by default. Also allows you to name the HDMI inputs which I like. Interoperability- Excellent with LG 4K player and LG Soundbar.
