Consistent unit

Price has gone up considerably since I bought the original version 3-4 years ago. Guessing it’s still fall out from Covid…materials availability, etc.

Died just out of warranty period
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked fine the first year. Died after 14 months just out of warranty period. Cost me hundreds of dollars in installation and diagnosis. Also, the app won't let you schedule temperature changes, just on/off; and it needs a bunch of permissions like location.

AC Good / Software terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far the ac seems good as far as ac's go, but what is terrible is the smart thinq app. Beyond terrible. Doesn't work at all! Even with the wifi 3ft away. Never able to log on. Google home works with it to turn it on and off only but no control with the app. Tried everything. If you want smart control, get something else!

Do not buy LG air conditioners!
