Nicely built appliance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this stove as a replacement for a faulty Electrolux range that started chipping after 90 days and have been very happy with it. The oven surface is nice and hard, giving the racks an ease of gliding(which is why I returned the Electrolux). It seems to cook evenly and the heat seems accurate, although I haven't thermometer checked it yet. The only odd thing is the size of the eyes are the same(6"/9" and 9" on the front and 2 6" in the rear. My fave french copper pot is right between 6" and 9", but still works fine on the 6" element.

Everything I wanted in a stove

It takes some time to know what numbers to use for medium and low heat, but I'm sure that will come with more use. I also like the idea that I can bake as I always have while I get used to the convection oven. My only complaint is that the alerts are not loud enough. Instead of regular alerts, LG products play little songs to let you know that the oven is warmed up, or the time on the timer is complete. Although I have it turned up as high as possible, it is difficult to hear if I'm somewhere else in the house.

awesome stove

We are still adjusting to how quick the burners heat up and adjusting the temperatures properly. I do miss that there is no room for a spoon rest to use while cooking
