Works great heats fast abd seems to simmer even on low settings

I've had this oven for about 8 months, and overall I have been happy with the product. The oven does a good job of reaching and keeping a set temperature. The self-cleaning feature works well. I have used the convection feature successfully multiple times but I haven't seen much of a real advantage with it. The glass cooktop is pretty nice, but it's tough to keep clean.

I've had this LG range for a little over 3 years. All of a sudden, the front two burners have stopped working. I tried getting it repaired, but the estimate to fix the problem is over $500. The repair guy told me that LG appliances cost more to repair because of specialty parts. I'm not sinking $500 into a $750 appliance to hopefully take care of the problem. Besides the range, the LG microwave that I purchased at the same time has stopped working and the dishwasher beeps incessantly when it's running. Appliances should last longer than 3 years. I'm never buying LG appliances again.

Every review I have read here says this is a great oven. However, when my oven has reached the temp that I set it at, it beeps and the light flashes that it is ready for whatever I am baking or cooking to be inserted when in fact it is at least 100 degrees less than the desired temperature. It takes an additional 20 to 30 minutes for it to heat to the temperature I want. I have had an LG certified technician out to test the unit and his technical equipment verified what my concern was. I was told both by this technician & LG that I would just have to live with this and that's the way the new ovens are. I can't believe I've spent the kind of money I did on an oven that I have to play a guessing game with to know when it is ok to insert my food & if my food is properly cooked. I was warned not to buy any LG product and I guess I should have listened. Very, very disappointed not only with the product, but with LG's customer service!! I think tis unit is a lemon.

This electric stove is the closest thing to gas that I have cooked on. Fantastic surface control with an all digital display.

The touchpad no longer works, don’t recommend. We have had this range 2 years, 3 months.
