I bought the LG washer and dryer to replace a 15-year-old Kenmore Elite set that was falling apart. I did a lot of research and found that this LG dryer had many different settings and options and most reviews said it dried very quickly which it absolutely does! It’s quiet, huge inside, and gets the job done the first time. Even jeans and towels. I love that the dryer door opens two different ways, and I frequently use the hamper door option which keeps any clothes from hitting the floor. I would highly recommend this dryer as well as the matching washer. I’ve had it about three weeks and I’m very happy!

I recently purchased the top-loading 5.0 LG washer and matching dryer. I am very happy with both products. The washer is very quiet, it’s capacity is huge, and it washes everything very well. The dryer dries our clothes, bedding, and towels thoroughly. Both washer and dryer are easy to program: simply push power, select load type, and start. I love that the dryer door can open two ways: pull down to load and swing open to empty.

Love this dryer! Works efficiently, isn't too noisy, cleans easily. We made the mistake of putting the laundry basket on top, which caused some scratching on the top, but it is otherwise in great condition after almost 4 years of use. Compatible with Google Home as well.

We have had this about a month. It has taken me a few cycles to get used to it. It is a nice dryer. Quiet while running. If your clothes are not wet it will turn off (sensing that the clothes are not wet) even if you are trying to fluff them (select manual so you can pick time) The door puzzles me a bit. It is loud and almost cheap sounding when you close it. And the drum light doesn’t automatically come on when you open the door (unless I am missing something) it will only open partially when opening from the top (afraid my kids will break the door thinking it should open all the way from the top like our old dryer) Overall good dryer. I can’t get the WiFi set up and I have emailed LG but never heard back for assistance in setting this up. Very pretty.

This dryer ticked all the boxes of what I wanted in a dryer - easy-load reversible/hamper door, energy star, quiet and simple to use. I am not disappointed so far. LG has great customer service if needed and Best Buy as well. When I noticed a price drop on the dryer almost 2 weeks later one contact with Best Buy and the difference was credited to my card. I would recommend this dryer to anyone wanting quality and great features.

I was reluctant to buy an LG branded product because admittedly, I don't know much about them (other than I used to own an LG cell phone 15 years ago)…… My limited experience with the brand made me super cautious but in the end I am incredibly happy with my choice. I find that this product is the perfect balance of priced and features that I like/need while still being a high quality item. My clothes dry quickly and I have no complaints on the overall use of the dryer. Functions are easy to understand and there are way more drying settings available to me than I will ever personally need. The two way door is also super cool, and really useful when moving clothes from the washer to the dryer.... Neat idea! I wonder why it took so long for dryers to have that? Internet connected/smart features are cool too, but the directions for the initial set up process could have been clearer, but with a quick google search you can figure out what you actually need to do to make it work. I literally used a video on youtube called "LG Smart ThinQ Washer How to Connect to your WIFI" and once I realized what I needed to do set-up was done in less than 5 minutes. I would 100% buy this dryer all over again and hope that it lasts for years to come!

Best. Dryer. Ever. Drys everything In one cycle (even bedding). Love the way the door opens from the top for easy loading. Quiet and efficient.

This was our first LG Dryer purchase. Let me say, my wife and I are very pleased with this dryer. We traded in our old Samsung after 10 years (electronics died). We replaced it with a LG unit. It is very quiet compared to the old Samsung, and it does a great job drying the clothes, and having a large capacity it'll dry the large loads. LG appears to have done a pretty good job with this unit. It's a buy if you need a large capacity dryer. Drake our Best Buy Representative was great during the entire purchase process. Hands down the two way opening glass door is the best feature ever. This is a great dryer. Easy to use, quiet, efficient, durable. Great value.

This dryer is awesome. Lots of settings for various types of items. The wifi was a little iffy setting up but I eventually got it working. Though, I'm not sure what exactly I'll use it for. The dryer itself operates great and not loud. Holds a lot of clothes. Would definitely recommend this to purchase for the price. I found out about the dual door opening mechanism (thanks to the best buy delivery guy) after installation, which was a nice surprise.

I love the capacity and features of this dryer. Easy to use, and has a range of settings. The door even opens in two directions! It opens like all dryers from the side, but it also has a latch that allows the door to tilt open from the top. This is a great feature when you are adding an additional item or when you want to make sure nothing falls on the floor when taking itemss out of the dryer. This was a nice little unexpected bonus feature!

I purchased this LG 7.3 Cu. Ft 9-cycle electric Dryer about a month ago. I needed a new washer (purchased the matching LG), so wanted to have a larger dryer since my old dryer was a smaller size. This dryer is good size and works good. No complaints. Is easy to use and seems to dry everything and looks nice. I haven't had it very long so can only say how it has been so far. But feel like I made a good purchase.

This dryer door opens from the top as a pull down, or as a side to side. Super convenient and versatile for any laundry/utility room. The large capacity allows for drying comforters, as well as large loads of laundry. I like the sleek design and silver/grey color. Plenty of options for drying. It works great! My wife and I are very happy with this purchase.

It's so quiet! Coming from an old washer with issues, this one seems to whisper. The capacity is great...I haven't overloaded it yet, which is amazing. The clothes seem to dry correctly on each setting. I'm still learning how to use it, but it is working great for me! I still need to read the manual to find out what "Downloaded" means :)

Easy to use, large capacity, big lint screen that’s easy to clean and replace. Tilt-down front door makes loading a snap, but impedes unloading. Only complaint is that when you use the automatic dry settings on clothes that start with varying degrees of wetness, it sometimes gets fooled by the clothes that dry first, and leaves the wettest items still damp, requiring you to run them again for 25 minutes on high.

I got the matching washer and dryer and love them both. My favorite feature is being able to open the door from the top or side. It dries as expected and is easy to use. The delivery guys were on time and they set the washer and dryer both up and didn’t leave until they made sure they worked, while giving me a quick tutorial on the features. They were very courteous, efficient and professional.

This is an awesome dryer. It has a huge capacity, dries the cloths really well and is very, very quiet. It has a nice big door that opens both down from the top and from the right or left (super convenient and rather cool) We replaced a Whirlpool Cabrio Dryer that had lived a long life, but this one is even better.

This is very easy to use, and fairly quiet. I love the fact that the door opens from the top or the side. So far, it has worked like a charm. Our old machine was still working, but when our washer needed replacing, we decided to upgrade to this to have a matching set. Really glad we did.
