My wife loves our new LG washer and dryer. These units are so far making us very happy about laundry day. Pros: Very large capacity, energy efficient, quiet, and our laundry comes out bright and clean. Wife is happy, I am happy.

We bought this LG electric dryer to replace an old Kenmore Elite model with a lot of bells and whistles. The LG doesn't have as many but the ones it does have do the job quite nicely. I'm impressed with how quiet it is (much quieter than the Kenmore) and how well it dries. The graphite steel looks fabulous! We're very pleased with our purchase and we're very pleased that we got our washer and dryer at Best Buy. The installation was fast, easy and efficient. They even matched the price for us when this pair went on sale the following week. Best Buy is the best place to buy major appliances.

Dries cloths efficiently and the 2 way door opening is really convenient. Love the light in the dryer too! Large enough to fit all my bedding in one load.

Overall the dryer functions well and as expected. I didn’t think I’d care about the interior drum light but we love it and use it often. The multi- directional opening of the door is also handy and one more way to make the most of your dryer. It would be nice to see the vent port in a different location but that’s partially due to the exterior vent location on my wall behind the dryer. I would recommend this dryer for anyone who wants some nice features and a dryer that performs well for many different types of laundry. 5/5 stars from me.

I like the dual ways to open the dryer door. It's quiet and plays a nice little tune when the drying cycle is done. Efficient and gets the job done.

I really like my LG 7.3 cu. ft. Electric dryer. It works very well and holds a great deal of clothes. It replaced a fifteen year old GE dryer that had seen its last days. It dries my clothes much better and faster. There are some nice options for drying the clothes including a timed dry, which is great for controlling the temperature of the cycle. I love that it has a light inside so I can see, and the end of cycle jingle is pleasant. It can be heard across the house. So much nicer than the old honking signal I used to have on the old machine. I hope both the LG washer and dryer last us many years to come!

Well constructed, quite during operation, easy to load (door opens 2 says, many functions and operation modes, accessible via wi-fi.

The door. OMG! When you’re loading, the door opens down at an angle so that you basically have a laundry chute. Makes loading so easy. When it’s done drying, the light cones on and you open the door sideways. How cool is that? Plus this is one smart dryer - when the washer is done, it sends information on settings that it used (which is typically a little different than what you programmed because it uses a load of sensors to constantly change things as it washes). The dryer looks at those settings and then makes its dry program based on that. Yayyyy!

Easy to use, lint tray is inside door so its easy to clean and doesn't leave the top of the dryer dusty. Large capacity dries quickly and minimal wrinkles.

We have had this dryer for about a month and use it almost every day. So far, we are very pleased with the quality of the dryer and with the price we paid. The dryer is easy to use once you have read the manual and experimented a bit with the settings. I generally use a high heat setting to get towels and heavier cottons good and dry. I love the chime that indicates the drying cycle is complete. The grey color looks great, too. So far, it looks great and works great. The Best Buy guys who delivered and installed the washer & dryer did a great job, too!

I have shopped around with all name brands. Finally we picked this one. We are happy with it. Excellent dryer. Easy to use. Quiet.

We purchased this dryer along with the matching washer based on positive reviews on several sites. When paired with the matching LG washer, it works well. Clothes dry quickly in part because the washer is so effective at spinning out water at the end of the wash cycle. So, you save time on the drying cycle, which saves on electricity. Also, I would suggest that you read the owners manual before using the machine so that you get the best results. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase.

The capacity on this dryer is fantastic. It dries nicely, and offers some ability to monitor status from an app which is nice. The problem with the sensor dry is it works for about 6 months, then by whichever cause, it stops sensing properly. The internet is full of explanations and remedies, but none works besides replacing the sensor. Great dryer otherwise. The door can open either from the top or the side which is a great feature.

Have had the dryer for a little over 3 weeks and it has been a nice dryer, we are happy with this purchase. LG seems to make very quite washers and dryers. The nice thing about this dryer is the door will either open to the side or open downward, haven't figured out how LG engineered that but it's a nice feature for someone that needs the door to open either way. Dryer is very quite and has more than enough options for drying.

The dryer works well and has easy to use controls. It is much quieter than our old dryer. I did not give it 5 stars because the dryer drum made a screeching sound for a minute or so on starting a cycle for the first week, and I was almost ready to call Best Buy Total Tech for servicing. However, this problem stopped. It also took us about two weeks to figure out the ideal dryer settings. The default settings tend to leave laundry a bit damp until we adjusted the desired drying level up.

Best dryer we have owned in past 40 years. Quiet, easy to program. Lots of settings to make use easy and to save energy

This dryer is so easy to work with. The bi-directional door opening really helps. When I load I use the top->outward open , when I pull out my dry items out, I open outward from the left side. My space for my laundry is narrow, the variable door opening really works well for my space. the preprogrammed selections can handle anything from Bulky to Delicate. I also like the ability to just set up a generic setting.

Expected to be smaller considering we have a big family. It dries very well and does not damage clothes. Easy to use and convenient door.
