LOVE my new dryer. For the past 8 years I have used the front load washer dryer sets and was never happy with either. When my second front load washer died (one month after warranty was out) I decide to get rid of both and buy the top load wash and matching dryer. This dryer is awesome -everything fluffy and clean and DRY (imagine that!) when it comes out and it can handle A lot of clothing, bedding, whatever!

I purchased this dryer as it was the companion piece to the washing machine I purchased. The capacity is excellent, so much so that I could put a king comforter inside. I especially like the "shute".....While the dryer door opens, like any other dryer, there is a way to open up a shute when I transfer the clothes from the washing machine to the dryer. Very cool. The installation by Geek Squad was outstanding and I highly recommend Best Buy for not only the selection of items but their installation of those products.

Bought the washer too. These units are great, efficient, and easy to use functions. All options covered. Large capacity. Sleek design.

Really happy with this machine. It has a lot of space inside. It is a dryer machine so there is obviously sound, but it is a lot quieter than our old machine. It took us a few weeks to get the right settings, our clothing was damp at first, but we eased into turning it up to prevent shrinking. My wife loves the color and the price was pretty great during the Labor Day Sale.

This dryer is a great choice for those who are looking for energy efficiency. The dryer senses when the clothes are dry thus eliminating over drying and wasted energy usage. If the clothes are still wet after the allotted time the dryer will conveniently add more time to the cycle. The easy load door feature is very convenient and makes loading the dryer easier without the annoyance of dropping your wet clean clothes on the floor.

Great fit. Quiet, and I love the sensor. It also told us that our dryer duct was 80% occluded and even though the top and bottom of the vent were clear, the middle was pretty gunked up w lint. Had a company clean for $79 and I couldn’t believe how much came out even after I had cleaned it. This dryer may have saved us from a fire! We are pleased.

The best dryer we have ever had. Dries the clothes according to our preference. Very energy efficient. Very easy to use. Mostly all the functions are useful. The best quality of this dryer is that it uses very less power ending up in low electricity bill. Definitely recommend this dryer.

This dryer is the best one I've ever purchased. It has a large capacity and the Wi-Fi connected to the LG app and Amazon Alexa is a great feature. The double hinge door is it's most convenient feature allowing you to open horizontally to throw in close from the washer, preventing them from falling on the floor and vertically to easily take out the dry clothes. Definitely recommend and is highly rated on Consumer Reports!

Very happy with the performance of our new dryer. We set it up ourselves very easily. It is very easy to determine what cycle to choose for each load. The pause cycle is a great feature as it allows me to see that it to came to a complete stop before I open the door. Never had a dryer that I could see through the door. Love it.

Very quiet. Easy to use. Good size drum. Like the 2 way opening of door function.

Having a hard time connecting to ThinkQ thru WiFi. Door feels a little flimsy as well as the lint vent. It does its job well. If I forget and my clothes get wrinkled just sitting there once dry. Adding a few minutes manually straightens them out quickly. Nothing comes out twisted. Not until you open the door do you feel heat from the dryer. I didn't think the 2-way door would be a big deal but now I'm spoiled by it.

I was a little skeptical getting another LG Dryer since our last one (LG as well) went on the Fritz a little sooner than anticipated. Out of warranty of course. But so far, this one is working great; simple controls, plenty big enough for our king comforter, and as a plus the door opens either down or to the side.

It dries well but I keep getting D98 error messages since the first day that I have used it. I had maintenance come out and clear out the ducts but still get the message. I just try not to use it too long and it's fine. Can fit huge California king comforters in there. I love how it opens up from two different ways! I have never owned anything new before so this a great feeling.

Love Love Love this dryer. I can put multiple blankets or bathroom rugs in it and set for very dry and its quiet and gets the job done without issue. I've had for more than a year now and cant say enough good things about it and LG appliances. Its super easy to use and gives you many choices on how you want to use it and you dont feel like you need a manual to do it.

Off the top, the door opening two different directions is crazy convenient. Loading from washer to dryer with the tilt down is EXCELLENT, then pouring them out opening to the side works great into a clothes bin. Plus it's extremely efficient on electricity, lots of different drying options. And the fact that I can get a notification when my dryer is done has been something I don't know how I did without before.

I recently upgraded my washer and dryer from a rather ancient Kenmore set. These are so much nicer! The dryer is quiet, and I like how it actually dries based on moisture content of the clothes. It should be more energy efficient than the old one because of this. It’s also nice how it sends notifications to the phone so even if I’m not near enough to hear it stop, I know it’s finished. Very happy with it!

Purchaced the matching electric Dryer at the same ime. Also a great price, works much better than expected and is very quiet. So well thought out (you have to check out the dual-door). Like the Washer, I can find NO faults. And Bryc and his delivery helper were the best in years (punctual, careful, quick, and efficient). Look forward to putting these thru the 'wringer'!
