Absolutely beautiful TV

This is our main living room TV, so it gets the most use out of all the TVs in our home. The picture quality is simply outstanding, The colors are so vivid and clear. Everything from our cable TV service to video games to streaming apps like Netflix and Hulu have a breathtaking picture. I also love how easily it pairs with our LG sound bar. Everyone who comes into our home compliments our TV and says how great it looks. LG has always made top-quality products and their TVs are no exception. This is not the first LG TV that we have owned and it certainly will not be our last. If you are on the fence about purchasing this TV, I have two words for you: DO IT.

3 years - no problems - excellent TV!

Purchased this Black Friday three years ago when we moved into a larger Living Room setting. As I am looking at newer TV's this year, I can't help but say this has been a high-value for the price paid. My Fiance is in love with this TV and she won't let me replace it anytime soon, so we could use this thing for the next 7+ years to get our 10 years out of the TV. Based on experience so far, I feel this thing will continue to last and be a great TV with sharp images and bright colors. Honest criticism - This TV does not produce the lowest black levels with the backlit IPS display, but if you want that you need to pay OLED prices, so you have to decide if it's worth it. Unless you are super picky about black levels, this TV is a great choice. The first and only issue we experienced in the first few months was getting an update that got stuck, seemed like the Operating System was frozen, after some quick research and troubleshooting, determined that there is a built-in Safeguard for this by unplugging the TV for a full power cycle, just like most electronics. It booted up flawlessly and continued to receive updates normally henceforth. I would say the Operating System only froze or became laggy once or twice in all of the time we've been using it, so I've only had to power cycle it maybe once or twice a year. Definitely not a big deal, and we pretty much used the Smart TV streaming channels mostly, as well as some Gaming with the PS4 and Xbox One X. TV was plenty powerful enough to handle this, input lag for FPS gaming is not ideal, but then the older consoles don't really pump out those high frame rates anyway, so you can't really tell the difference. Used primarily on Wifi connections and worked great. Only real app problem we had was with Paramount+, for some reason it just wouldn't play nice no matter what bandwidth was provided, so we subscribed to it through Amazon Prime instead and problem solved since the Amazon app works flawlessly. If you are still reading this review 3 or more years later (I assume this is probably the most recent review still being posted), and have the option to pick this TV up used at a great price, I would say go for it! I think I bought this on Black Friday for $799 and I think it probably could still hold a $400-500 value as a used TV in comparison to newer models that are going for around $700 on sale right now. So if you can get a good deal below $500, I would scoop this up and enjoy it for years!

The sound quality is awesome, very crisp & rich audio, good deep bass sound, you really don't need a sound bar with this TV. Smart features include Netflix, Hulu, and some built in LG apps, but I use Amazon Fire Stick 4K and it all works beautifully. No complaints. If you have a PS4 or Xbox One, you'll be blown away with the performance. To put it in perspective, the wife and the kids will love it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.No need to navigate smart hubs and inside of apps if you know what you want to watch just hold the mic button on the magic remote and say it ! if yours didnt come with the magic remote then its worth finding one for your year 2019 line up of all LG models uM-2019. voice command results are crazy fast and almost always relevant, almost no setup ! if you do want to browse or need to zip in a password or surf the web then the on-screen cursor for me is 10 times faster than plucking letters off a keyboard push button by push button super slow or dragging a cursor with the arrow pads on a remote, so painfully slow and just the old way of doing things. ever since the nintendo wii the technology has been around for a silly pointer to make everything fast, no wired i.r. bar needed. I love the picture if its in a bright room with lots of people watching from all angles IPS panels are usually always better at and faster than VA panels which usually look better than IPS panels in dark room with few people watching in a narrow row of seats.

Smart tv that can be connected and managed with siri. You can install whatever apps you want and have quick access to them.

Excellent T.V.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My partner and I decided to purchase a larger tv for our living room over the Thanksgiving/Black Friday Weekend. We looked at the reviews for this 75" LG tv from Best Buy, and we decided to buy it as the reviews were mostly positive. Man, what a great buy and the price was more than reasonable (just over $700) with discounts. The tv's picture quality and sound are LIKE THAT!!! NO ISSUES HERE. We also used paid the $250 to get that annual installation and protection-well worth the money because we got the Geek Squad to install the 75"-they are very professional. We also visited Best Buy a second time and paid $50 to mount another 50" tv in our bedroom (the one we removed from the living room). The annual installation fee is good because you get to mount multiple tvs or devices for $50 per call for the entire year.!
