I purchased two of these tvs. I read the specs and they seemed ok for the size and price. My wife and I have had LG cell phones and they were pretty good quality so I figured we were good. Umm bad decision. Straight out of the lines in the screen and off colors. I was extremely disappointed, we didnt even bother to open the second one. Just packed it back up and back to best buy. I want to thank best buy for making the return effortless and helpful.

Let's get right down to it: Are you in the market for a gigantic TV with decent specs, and modern I/O supporting HDMI 2.0 on all ports (4k resolution @ 60Hz)? Are you also in the market for a great deal ($650 for Black Friday as of this writing) and don't have to have THE best TV on the market, like the newer OLEDs or QLEDs? If you said yes to both of those questions, then don't hesitate, just go ahead and grab this set. I was skeptical like some of the other reviewers since there weren't many reviews on this set, but I figured with the extended return policy in place I could just bring it back if I didn't like it. After getting it set up yesterday, my initial impressions are very positive. Pros: *Excellent picture quality with great, wide viewing angles thanks to its IPS (In-plane Switching) screen. *LG App Store has almost everything you could want, negating the need for a secondary device like a Roku or similar. (Of course you can still use one if you prefer; plenty on offer for Black Friday on this very site right now if that's your thing.) *Easily synced with my LG soundbar, allowing control via the TV's included remote. (I eliminated 2 extra remotes switching to this TV since I no longer needed to use my soundbar and Roku remotes separately. Built in speakers are at least on par with anything else in this price range if you prefer.) *Snappy System UI without any noticeable lag. Apps load up quickly. Cons: *If the LG App Store IS missing an app you like, mirroring/casting options exist but are pretty poor. In this case you'll almost definitely want a secondary smart device, game console, or similar. *Like every other TV these days, it uses those garbage feet on either side, requiring you to have a massive TV stand or to wall mount. I got a third-party VESA-based foot replacement to work around this. Keep in mind you'll need a TV Stand that is at least 66" across to use the default, included feet. Possibly larger if you don't want them right at the exact edge.

Clear, sharp image. Easy to operate. It's unfortunate that these smart TV's do not always have all the streaming apps we need. They're limited based on the manufacturer and whatever agreements they have with the streaming services, no matter how new or old the TV is. Enough ports to run everything we have. I did however purchase different feet/stand to accommodate the stand I currently have, which was a minimal additional cost. Good for streaming and for our new PS5. No complaints from the family.

I have never had this brand of tv before but am very please with the quality of picture and sound. Got a great sale price of $649. My sons installed the tv on the wall with a stronger wall mount (went from 47inch to 75 inch) and plugged right into my surround sound with no problem. One thing that needs to be mentioned this tv weighs 75 pounds; so "ONE PERSON CAN NOT SAFELY UN-PACKAGE AND MOUNT ON THE WALL." I really like that the picture goes all the way to the edge. Color is so vivid and picture sharp

I returned a Samsung QLED and I'm so glad I did. The color, sound and picture on the LG is so much better. We love it and highly recommend it. It was super easy to set up but I will admit we were a little confused trying to figure out a few of the features but were able to figure them out fairly quickly. We've had it for almost a month and no problems so far.

Excellent sized television for a great price. At first was hesitant to purchase because there wasn't a lot of reviews but I'm glad I made this purchase. This LG Smart TV offers great features for individuals that are on a budget. The quality is amazing. Definitely lives up to the 4k experience. The sound is decent as well. You can do so much and have an extraordinary entertainment experience. So happy :)

Excellent purchase for the money. Got it on sale and can honestly say this is the biggest but cheapest tv I have ever bought for the living room. Very satisfied with it. Still playing with the settings to get my picture just right but more than confident I’ll get it done. I did have to install this on a brick wall as the stand was too large to fit on the mantle but it turned out perfect.

This tv has a great picture and was easy to setup. This model also has features such as AI sound learning where the tv will learn which sound settings it should apply for specific content you're watching. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

For the black friday price, it's great. We had a 60" before and wanted to upgrade to a larger unit as our couch is positioned ~11 ft from where this will be mounted to the wall. Picture isn't as good as our older Samsung model, but the size makes up for the difference. Two real cons from my standpoint: 1) I can't seem to get it to default to the LG home when it turns on (it only wants to go to the last input when you turn the unit on instead of the LG dashboard where you access the apps) so you have to manually hit home to get to it, which is annoying. 2) The remote isn't the greatest. It's a bit too small for the TV and the buttons are too close together. It's also not backlight like our Samsung remote was so when watching in a dark room it's hard to figure out where the buttons are.

This LG UHD TV is absolutely stunning. My mother was very excited to receive her 75'' tv and be able to watch her tv shows. We don't have cable and we use an antenna to watch local news and her telenovelas and she is enjoying every piece of it. The tv is easy to maneuver and launching updates is done quickly. Netflix, hulu, peacock, Disney +, showtime, etc. all work properly and with no faults. The setup was easy, though this tv does have the not so great support stands and you will have to be careful when handling the tv as it is heavy and placing the stands and screws on needs 2 people.

A 75 inch LED 4K UHD LG review

I paid less than 700 dollars for a 4K UHD 75 inch LG LED big screen at BestBuy during the 2020 COVID Thanksgiving sale. I’ve always had Sony in the past and paid a higher price for about the same quality. Setup does require two fairly strong persons but the TV wall mount install was the hardest aspect but did go smoothly as planned. EXCELLENT, CLEAR and amazing PICTURE with WI-FI apps, with cable HD and my BOSE 321. My BOSE 321 uses a component 3 plug connection and I was so excited that this LG TV had this Component connection on board!! Now I can use my older but still outstanding BOSE 321 system freeing up a HDMI outlet as I thought I would need a Component to HDMI converter which can be quite peculiar during DVD playback. While the LG does have on board apps, I have dialed in a fully synchronized ROKU unit which I like to use. In addition, I have an external home security 8 camera system that uses a HDD for storage/playback which uses an HDMI connection for display which connects to my 75 inch LG UHD as well. So with the ROKU, cable box and Security System using the three available HDMI connections and the BOSE using the Component port there are no compromises whatsoever using my new LG TV. TOTAL WIN/WIN!! Highly recommend BestBuy, LG and this particular model and for the price paid for the new 2020 LG unit from BB, carefully delivered right into my SUV, I could not be happier. Thank you, BestBuy!! I had read many reviews on many TVs and shopped Costco before purchasing this from BB. Excellent customer service.

I bought this as a Xmas gift to myself and I have been thrilled with it since I got it home and hooked up. First, you will need help lifting this thing because it weighs at least 100lbs or more. It was very easy set up, easy to switch to different streaming services, as well as the remote being able to understand. I would highly recommend this TV for the money. You can buy a more expensive tv but the streaming 4K services that I use makes the person look like you can touch them......LOVE IT>

Great 75” 4K TV for its price. This TV doesn’t have high contrast but the viewing angle is very good because of IPS panel. This color is great but do need manual calibration. A trade off that you need to consider over a TV with VA panel. This LG TV is also make in Mexico which I personal prefer over made in China. Is a great buy if you have the right expectation of what you prefer. If you’re looking for a tv for a dark room viewing you might need to consider other VA panel chooses.
