Despite receiving 4 faulty panels in a row (dead pixels on each), Best Buy did a fantastic job working with me to resolve the issues. I would not have gone through all the trouble if this TV was anything less than the absolute spectacle that it is. I assume a bad batch from the factory or shipping mishap damaged the first shipment they received. Some things can't be helped, so I'm not deducting any stars for that.

I returned the LG G5 83 inch after I had technical problem after problem. The tv had a color banding issue, which has now been resolved for Film Mode but not for Game Mode. The tv blocked all DTS audio on my television and denied passing through to my Home Theater sound system. Backdraft is only in DTS, so you can't watch anything in DTS. Also my Plex.TV LG App kept crashing during tv shows and movies due to a cache issue that even the G4 has. I had the latest firmware and cleared my cache and refused to fix this. This tv needs more internal memory. Seriously fix this! And now the Panasonic Z95B came out and you can clearly see the LG G5 is bright but the black crushing is bad and shadow detail is horrible on this television. Way overpriced.

Love the product delivery was quick and easy! Geek squad showed up on time and they were in and out with full installation in only 15-20 minutes! Great Team!

This is the best TV I have ever seen. The picture quality is amazing even in highly lit rooms.

Coming from a 77” C9, I didn’t expect drastic but that’s what I got. The brightness is insane. The colors, more saturated. This is as big of a jump as when I first went from a plasma to a 65” oled. Amazing tv

Easy to install. Dark movies look great! We did get an adjustable mount rather than using the flush one it came with since we have lights on the back.

OLED is spectacular, but the user interface and remote are needlessly frustrating

Upgraded from a CX, what an upgrade, incredible TV.

Video is pristine and should be at the G5 price point. I cannot believe how pathetically poor the audio is! To promote itself as enabling Dolby Atmos, I expected much more quality emanating solely from the television. I had to turn the volume close to maximum just to have adequate sound projection in the room the television is mounted (16’x18’). I SHOULD have returned this LG, but after already having invested my time and paying additional mounting fees, I purchased a soundbar. I should NOT have had to do so, as I expected sufficient sound quality without any additional financial investment… I wonder if LG intentionally manufactored the G5 with below average audio to influence the purchase of a recommended LG sound bar. I did NOT buy an LG sound bar and purchased a Klipsch Flex 200 to enable high quality audio to match the high quality video… LG, you should be ASHAMED!

Way brighter than g4 83”. Only downside now is waiting on hue TV sync app to be released for g 5

Colors are vivid on live channels. Movies vary on how they were shot. Sound quality is excellent.
