We bought a Whirlpool microwave and it was so poorly made we returned it and chose this LG as a replacement. It is a little concerning at first when you don't see the usual keypad, but it's actually very user friendly. This microwave has a lot of power so it heats food faster than our previous one did. Seems well made, and is quieter than most.

This microwave worked fine until it didnt. After just 4 years, it died today. I contacted LG for support as the magnetron is still covered. They were very helpful and quickly provided me with local tech info to have it inspected and hopefully repaired with no cost ( or low cost, we may have to cover labor, I am not sure) to us, if it is the magnetron. If we cannot have it repaired, I would not buy this model again. It is not incredibly user intuitive and seems almost rabid when heating simple things. I have never had water explode so many times as in this microwave. With the customer service I have received so far, I would definitely still consider LG, but not this model.

This would be a wonderful microwave if the back (outside) panel didnt rattle so much. It's very annoying. I didn't return it because shipping it didn't seem prudent due to its size, and i live about 65 mes from the nearest store and the only problem is how noisy it is. Otherwise it is great. I had previously purchased one that didn't heat anything, so i was already frustrated with them and afraid to try a third one so I kept it in spite of how loud it rattles. I am not really sure i recommend it, but maybe.

I bought this LG microwave on 12/03/20. By 05/03/22 the magnetron stopped working; It lasted 1.5 years. Many sources report that a microwave oven should last an average of 7-8 years. There are many reviews warning about LG poor quality magnetrons, but I decided to play Russian Roulette with it. I lost. We should be grateful LG doesn't make cars. As I'm single, the microwave was in light use. Warranty is for 1 year, and I didn’t have the extended one. 10 years warranty for magnetron is worthless because it only pays for the part, and labor cost is so high that in both places that fix LG products in my town I was advised against repair. I read too many harrowing stories about LG service after purchase to buy LG again. I bought Panasonic microwave, since before LG I had Panasonic one that lasted 10 years. Silver lining - buy LG only if you like gambling.

I love this microwave. Havent seen another one that can compare so far.

No issues so far, works as expected. I would recommend to my friends and family to to buy.

Works really well. You definitely have to adjust the cook times because of the inverter in it. But my family loves it.

Excellent microwave easy-to-use functions and a nice alarm when food is done I highly recommend it!

Excellent product and very powerful. We need a countertop microwave but this was too big for our small space so we sized down to the 1.5 cubic feet. Otherwise, highly recommend in either size.

I like this microwave oven. I gave it a 4 rating because of the "pull door" way of access. A push button to open the door would've been much easier.

A just “okay” microwave. Controls are inside the door and difficult to access, makes a huge amount of noise when operating and only able to heat in 10-20 second amounts- i.e. cannot cook anything for 15:seconds. I bought online and decided it was too difficult to return so I kept it. It does heat okay in spite of flaws

It works like it should. I couldn’t believe it, a microwave that works. I’m so happy.

Looks nice and roomy but makes vibrating noice , sometimes very loud. Not sure if this is a defective unit.

I'm really liking this microwave. If you're in the market you won't be sorry if you buy this one and Best Buy did a Fantastic job getting out to us

This microwave does a great job. It was purchased for the employees break room.

I ordered this microwave because it matched all of my other kitchen appliances. Well, it looks great but its functionality is not so great. I do not know how many times I have had to re-set the thing; the time, the 30 sec quick microwaving, etc... It is also very noisy.

First day with new microwave, you just think another microwave. It’s sharp looking quiet has a tone like our LG washer dryer but what stood out our teenagers who don’t care about anything thought it was very cool. So far great product

Works great, controls are a little hard to see. Housing sounds a little tinny, could use some sound insulation. Still a good item.

I have had 2 LG microwaves in the last 8 years. I wish I had left a review on my first LG microwave. But I will leave a review on THIS LG microwave. Both were very nice looking on my countertop and served their purposes well. But I need a microwave to last more than just 4 years. Both died when the heating element quit working. Needless to say, I will not be buying another LG microwave.
