I just had to put one word in the description for this dryer, and that word was "amazing". This thing is whisper quiet, the steam function is phenomenal, and the plethora of settings leaves me amazed. If you do have a large load of towels or heavier clothes, you may need to do some adjusting on some of the settings as I have had damp towels with the energy saver setting. But other than that over the last month this dryer has served me very well and I am impressed. I got it on a scratch and dent sale and I could not be happier!

Gets clothes dry very quickly. I love the steam feature. Pretty much irons my clothes while getting ready for work. Quiet and effecient.

East to use, runs very quiet. Steam function is great especially if you forget to unload a load after drying.

First thing to note - the setting for 'normal' (super energy efficient) will not get items fully dry. Let this dream go. If you just have underwear, sure, no problem, but even t-shirts were a touch damp. I usually pick 'more dry' or 'most dry' for medium heat and it's done in an hour. I have steamed pillows - not sure if it's sanitized but they smelled better (throw pillows the dog likes to drool on). Overall, I like this dryer.

We bought this dryer to stack on top of a matching LG washer. It has great capacity and can handle a king-size comforter pretty easily. The steam feature is very nice for wrinkle-free clothes. The only thing I wish it had was an automatic water feed line. Filling up the reservoir is a bit annoying - especially since it's stacked and reaching up to get the reservoir in and out is a pain. However, that's my only gripe.

Very spacious, quit, fast, gentle on clothes. Best washer/dryer set I've ever owned.

Great dryer, we didn't want the matching front loading washer but we opted for this dryer and it matches our set great plus my big down comforters fit and a regular comforter and a whole load of clothes fits. As well as so many settings and options! I would recommend this! Also, it plays a 5-10 second tune when it's ready so it's not an annoying beep! It's the little things. Lol

We bought the LG front load washer about four years ago and were very pleased. We did not want to trash our still working standard dryer but it finally gave out last month. So we bought the matching LG dryer with pedestal and now we have a match of a high performing pair. Dryer appears to very efficient and easy to use. Looking forward to years with no problems.

This thing is amazing. Not only does it save a significant amount of electricity over my old dryer but it is never noisy. The steam functions are a real time saver. I did not think I would enjoy the extra features as much as I have.

I have had this LG dryer for about 1 month. So far I am delighted. It seems to do a great job of drying my family's clothes, faster than my prior dryer. (In fairness, I do believe that is partly due to the fast spin speed on the matching washer, wringing out more of the water, so that the dryer has less to do). The unit sounds like a typical dryer, neither louder nor quieter. The preset cycles seem to cover a wide variety of clothing that you might be drying, but you can also override the defaults and change various settings. I have noticed one negative of the automatic drying cycles if the load is very small: The dryer thinks it is done sooner than it is. Maybe as soon as 10 minutes, when in fact it is not even close to dry. I have found that for "small" loads (2 - 3 items) I have to either set manual dry times, or run a couple successive cycles with the normal dry setting overridden to "more dry" setting. The estimated remaining time duration for your load is shown on the indicator, but this can change during the term of the cycle depending on the internal moisture sensors. With ordinary loads, it seems to properly dry the whole load on the automatic "normal dry" cycle. Only very small loads have given me an issue. So far it works like a charm, and I am happy with my purchase. My wife does not like that it is fairly low to the ground (as all front load washer/dryer pairs are), but I was not willing to spend an extra $500 to buy bases for both the washer and dryer ($250 x 2). That is just too much money for a base. I bought the washer and dryer for $699 each, and I think that was a fair price for the features that this this series model offers. I have not yet tried the "steam" option on the dryer, partly because it involves an extra step. There is no water hookup on the dryer. Instead, you have to manually fill a reservoir (drawer that pulls out in front). One day I will try it out, but I have not needed to yet. Also, I had considered changing out the standard rear-exhaust to a side exhaust, but the LG kit for this model is about $75, which seemed pricey for just a 4" diameter pipe and an elbow, so I didn't bother to change it out. In all, I am happy with my purchase. Hopefully, the dryer works properly for years to come.

No more wrinkled clothes....YEAH!!! This is a replacement for an old Kenmore washer dryer combo that finally plotzed. I am beyond happy with it. The features are all one could want and it has a huge capacity. Clothes are dry and wrinkle free and the drying time is so quick. Love this maching.

We are very happy with the outcome of our quiet LG dryer. Our laundry room is part of our open concept house so its very nice to not be able to hear it. Many options on the washer that we have no explored yet! The steam function is VERY nice when i forget to take the clothes out of the dryer
