The best Buy price match feature is one of the awesome out of all competitors around. I will buy more products from best buy! The LG washer works great and energy efficient and quite when running.

Caveat: we've only had this washer for a month. That said, this washer is such a huge step up from our no-frills top loader of 14 years that a comparison almost seems unfair. First, I considered this to be a very reasonable price point for this washer compared to similar ones available. I was a little disappointed that the silver one was more expensive than the white model, but my wife wanted silver (so you know how that goes). ;-) Filling the detergent is very easy, and so far we haven't had to do any cleaning of the liquids drawer. I love the flexibility of easily choosing pre-configurations on the dial (but being able to tweak them with the buttons). The washer gets the clothes very clean and uses a fraction of the water our old unit did. The spin is so fast on this thing (does make a slight jet engine whine but it's very soft and kind of cool to hear) that most of the drying work is done before the clothes hit the dryer. Some friends of ours also bought this same model and went with the stacking configuration (with the accompanying dryer)...if you do that, though, keep in mind that you'll need to put the washer on the bottom (due to the need to fill liquids in the drawer for every load) as opposed to the dryer drawer which you only need to fill with water when you want the dryer steaming effect). Stacking puts the dryer pretty high up, too, so if you're 5" tall or less you might want to go with a side by side orientation.

The washer has plenty of settings to do any type load. The turbo cycle does get clothes washed fast. We haven't tried the steam cycle yet so can't comment on that. The only flaw with this washer is the 'water hammer' problem that is caused by the pump kicking on and off when you start a load of laundry. The washer fills short bursts of water into the tub and the pump kicks on and off so hard it makes the water lines bang against the wall causing 'water hammer'. This is fixed by getting water hammer 'arrestors' that run about $9 - $10 each. You'll need one for each water line and they are easy to install. We got such a good deal on the washer we kept it since the arrestors did fix the problem. I'd give it a five star rating if it didn't have the water hammer problem. LG should reimburse owners for the arrestors. It is a design flaw IMO.

Cleans very thoroughly. We upgraded from smaller European frontloader and this has a much larger capacity and removed heavy duty stains.

The last washer/dryer I bought was over 10 years ago, so it was a bit of a shock to have to figure out how to operate this beast with flashing lights that plays little electronic tunes when you turn it on and when it finishes a load. It does an amazing job of cleaning and the spin cycle gets an incredible amount of water out of the clothes. I've only done 4 loads of laundry thus far and am in love with this machine. It's also very quiet when running (once you get it balanced correctly). I wish Best Buy would let people edit reviews after posted, as I'd love to come back in a few months with an update after I've had more time to use it. Hopefully this machine will be as reliable as it is effective at doing its job.

We are first time owners of a front load washer. Always read that front loaders were easier on clothes and more water efficient. Needed something we could stack, so we gave it a try. Was skeptical when I saw how little water was being used, but am sold now. Wash cycles run shorter, use far less water, and come out drier after spinning (ie, they dry in half the time). Clothes are just as clean and fresh as a top loader, plus doing the laundry takes half the time it used to! NEVER GOING BACK TO A TOP LOADER.

This washer made my old washer look terrible. This washer does a great job cleaning and spin cycling our clothes. Able to wash anything. Easy to use and very energy efficient!

So far, so good. Our clothes actually smell good after being washed with this washer vs. our old washer. Easy to use and fairly quiet, which is always a plus! Overall, satisfied!

This is a great change! I love the new LG product. It's easy to use, lots of options, and a low noise level. Look at this model when your in the market for a new product.

Large capacity and lots of settings. Is quiet and only complaint would be that the signal for the end of the cycle is very low and cannot be heard unless you are in the same room

Very quiet, large tub, many options to choose from. Just be aware if you have not had a new washer in a long time you will need to buy water hammer arrestors because of the pressure the machine uses to add water to machine. Our pipes were banging so hard thought we were going to have to return it until we talked to plumber. Evidently this happens with all new machines. We previously owned one of the first front loading machines and this one is amazing compared to our previous 15 year old machine

This set is quiet, energy and water efficient, and gets the laundry done quick. I love all the wash cycles to choose from.

Great capacity, have yet to find a size load that this washer could not handle with ease. Easy control displays, and overall great performance to date.

Cleans faster/better than my 2 older front loaders. Little trouble getting the balance just right. It is quiet. I like how the door is magnetic and can leave slightly ajar without it coming wide open.

Its been 2 months, we purchased this. Great washer. Very Silent. Works as specified. So far so good.
