So first, we are very happy with the washer. Glad we purchased it. Washes clothes great and relatively quick. We are able to wash over 10 towels at a time. The only downside, is we had to add Water Hammer Arrestors to the intake lines. About $15 each feed. This washer during the first 3 minutes would rapidly turn on off the water, causing the water pipe to hammer. (Google search showed this is normal and not a defect of the washer). We have high water pressure so it was more sever. Added these arrestors, and problem solved. Also, this Washer is NOT light. If you drop something behind it, it could take two people to move it to get to it. Put a cover or something on the back to avoid accidental dropped items

Debated on Samsung and LG washing machines and was a tough decision. Decided to go with LG and was a good choice. NOTE: When we got our first unit it started to leak!!! I ran a couple of loads and sudsy water was leaking from the bottom!! Called best buy and their customer service was outstanding. Took care of it right away instead of fudging around with trying to repair it they send a brand new one. After getting the new unit we've been super happy with the unit it washes extremely quickly so much faster than our old units easy to use. Works just as it's supposed to. The platinum color is awesome looks very nice and very clean. We've had it for about 3 months now and works like a dream. The unit is kinda loud but not too bad. The pedestals are an arm and leg!! $250 EACH?! Really? Come on, but my wife insisted on getting them and while makes the washer easier to access and for storage, it's a steep price on an already pretty expensive unit. Overall very happy with this purchase despite the first unit leaking.

I have had this washing machine for about a month and it has fast wash cycles. It makes loud water sucking noises when the wash cycle is started. The detergent and bleach dispensers are in the front top left next to the selecter knob, so if the bleach overflows this could rust up the electrical contacts of the switch next to it.

Great front loader. Large capacity.... As long as you clean the front part... No mildew or junk in there yet!

Expensive but worth every dollar of smooth operations, quiet and high efficiency . Especially larger capacity like no other washer..

We did a lot of research before we bought this washing machine. It has a lot of features, but not so many that there are unnecessary ones. It has a big enough load capacity for our needs.

This washer is great I am very happy with it overall. It cleans the clothes very well and is efficient. It has several cycle selections to choose from and you can pause the machine in case you need to add an item. Doing laundry just got quicker to do. I can do laundry in half the time it took me before with my top loader. I have the matching dryer as well and the cloths dry unbelievable fast, and I love my little signal at the end letting me know my wash or dryer is done ! Love my new machines

Overall, it's a great washer, our first front-loader. A bit of sticker shock compared to top-loaders, but the unit is very quiet, saves water, and gets more water out of the washed clothes than any top-loader we've owned (saving money on dryer usage). Wish we could change the "done" chimes, as they sound rather flowery, but it's better than a loud buzzer.

I am elated with this machine. The steam feature removes some difficult stains without using harsh chemicals. The machine is quiet and with all the cycles and options, you can wash a multitude of different types of clothing. I, particularly, like the small load cycle which my previous machine did not have. The steam cycle is long, but when it is finished, you clothes are spotless and so fresh smelling!

I am really liking the turbo wash on this unit as my other LG did not have. This washer seems to wash more aggressively.

replacing 14 year old Neptune that never had an issue. much larger capacity. so far it appears the steam function is actually useful. also seems to really alter the cycle length depending on the load.

This is the best washing machine i have owned. The multiple settings actually do what they claim to do and it is quiet. No matter the size of the load of laundry it gets them clean and the whites are bright.

We are very happy with this washer. Even our 5 kids now do all of their own laundry because they like using this machine. We also bought the matching dryer at the same time. Large capacity and easy to use controls. Worth the money.

This is a great washer. Easy to use with lot of features. Only down side isIf you have a small laundry room. Front loader is not good you may not have enough space to open

The washer is beautiful,highly efficient in levels, and very quiet. I am no sure about washing my California King size comforter in it; queen or smaller okay.

This washer is easy to use. Because I bought ours "out of the box", it came with no instructions. Regardless, I was able to figure out settings & how to adjust. We're just not sure what "Turbo" does. It's automatically on unless you turn it off.

Amazingly quiet and washes amazing. Leaves the clothing feeling almost dry and calculates wash time based on load weight. It doesn't waste much water but the cloths come out very clean. Has child lock feature as well as steam , sanitary allergen help and much more. Best purchase was the bundle ( dryer too) I'm very happy with having made this decision and they are easy for teens to use when they start learning to put the loads to wash.

I love this washer! It uses a lot less water than my old washer. My clothes smell cleaner too!

For the money, I would have expected MUCH better quality. Have continuous problem with residual water in the washer after running a load. Have to run almost every load on an additional spin cycle which adds another 18 minutes to washing process. LG claims the issue is being caused by using too much detergent, have cut the amount down to only a teaspoon and still have the same issue. Would NEVER buy this again!
