This monitor pushes my 480 to its limits. I would like to see it being $100 less. Even at that I have no buyers remorse. (One complaint the box was damaged when it arrived)

I Love it. Straight out of the box I tested it for color accuracy and dead or stuck pixels. My monitor passed all tests and zero bad pixels. The color settings calibrated by LG were spot on, I have made no changes and love the picture. Before my purchase I had a hard time deciding between the older LG 27gn950 and this model. Ultimately I decided on this one because of the HDMI 2.1 at 120 Hz. I made the right decision and couldn't be more happy with this great monitor. It was worth the long wait to get it.

The best 27" 4k 144Hz monitor currently on the market. Has HDMI 2.1 for 4k 120Hz for Xbox & PS5 Consoles. For PC you can actually overclock it to 160Hz, but you really can't tell the difference between 144/160Hz. Looks amazing with my RTX 3080 graphics card. Colors are great as expected from the top of the line LG IPS monitor. I love the adaptive sync lights on this monitor. It'll have ambient light on the back of it that'll sync to whatever is on your monitor screen. For the record, this is the exact same IPS panel as last year's model, the 27GN950-B (now discontinued), except this cost $100 more just for the addition of HDMI 2.1. Last years model was always sold out everywhere due to having very limited supply because of the worldwide chip shortage. This years model is no different as it's also extremely hard to find as well. The only negative of this monitor is the backlight bleed as many others have mentioned. This is practically a $1000 monitor, yet the backlight bleed will vary from each unit from minor to very bad. I was able to get 2 of these monitors. My first one has it medium-ish bad on the top right & bottom left corners. I play after work in the dark with brightness set to 0 & it's still very noticeable while playing a game or watching a movie that has black/dark scenes. My second monitor was much, much worse though. It was the top right, top left, & bottom left. Dark/black scenes were practically grey except for the center & bottom right. I returned that one. Do note though that if you play with the lights on or during the day, the backlight bleed shouldn't bother you much. You may not even notice it at all, but as someone who games after hours in the dark, it's very noticeable & distracting. Also you shouldn't care too much about all those pictures of backlight bleed. Cameras will always show all 4 corners having some backlight bleed as they see more light that the human eye. What actually matters though is if YOU can see it yourself or not.

I have both the PS5 and Series X and I only use my monitors for console gaming. Been waiting for a 4K/ 120hz HDMI 2.1 monitor that wouldn't break the bank and this one seems to have been worth the wait. The picture quality is amazing but with one exception. YOU MUST TURN OFF HDR ON BOTH CONSOLES. Having the HDR setting turned on washes out the colors. Other than turning off the HDR setting on the consoles, the monitor has been fantastic for both systems. Excellent framerates and beautiful colors. Minor adjustments to color settings needed based on how dark or bright your room is.

An Absolute Beauty. Play with your display settings and you can get this looking as close to OLED as I've seen on any 27inch. I play this with my Xbox Series X and it's silky smooth. Seeing picthes on MLB The Show is how i usually test the hz. And this one does not disappoint. Integrated RGB is bright and clear. There is lots of backlight on this screen but thats to be expected on these panels. 27inch screen sounded small. Turns out it's the perfect size.

This small, but welcome upgrade to the infamous LG 27GN950-B. That was the top rated 4K IPS monitor of 2020. This 2021 model, the LG 27GP950-B makes some slight changes to improve on what the latter was missing. That being the HDMI 2.1 standard. This allows for 4K 120Hz over HDMI; previously the 2020 model only allowed up to 60Hz. So yes, this means if you have a Sony PlayStation 5 or a Microsoft Xbox Series X|S you can get the full experience here. That includes auto HDR features. Make sure you have a HDMI 2.1 compatible cable to work with it. Note: It comes with one in the box and with those consoles. This monitor, like it's older sibling gets extremely bright. The Nano IPS colors are very accurate and can be fine tuned to your liking. It increases the amount of colors that are producible bringing the monitor from a standard 8-bit to 10-bit; which is used in HDR10 high fidelity content. HDR allows for deeper blacks and brighter whites or highlights, providing rich contrast even if the content you're viewing doesn't support HDR. While on the PC, you can take advantage of the DisplayPort, which will allow you to take the refresh rate up to 144Hz in 4K! That is incredible. With AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-SYNC compatibilities built-in, this monitor will provide smooth gaming experiences. Just make sure have a graphics card that can handle 4K: AMD RX 6800, RX 6800 XT, RX 6900 XT, or Nvidia RTX 3080, 3080 Ti, or 3090 can get the job done; if you can get your hands on one. The LG even features an overclock mode to allow up to 160Hz at 4K! It's great. There aren't any speakers, but headphones can be plugged into the back of the display, audio if fed through the cable of your choice. There is a USB 3.0 uplink, giving you a USB 3.0 hub on the back of the monitor. The monitor stand allows you to twist it vertically and adjust the height up and down slightly. The feet of the stand do stick out quite a bit, so some may be well served to get an 100 x 100 vesa monitor arm instead. The bezels are thin: creating a floating paper feeling and the text are sharp with this LG Nano IPS panel. The price is pretty steep, but you'll be getting your monies worth because this monitor has many features that are current and still being worked on for "next-gen" gaming so you will be all set for a long time. I sure do love mine and I am sure you will too!

Absolutely awesome monitor. Use this both with a capable gaming PC as well as a PS5 and both look incredible on it. 4K and 144hz in the games that can run at that level is certainly one of the most impressive visual experiences to be had in modern gaming. Input lag is super low and overall panel quality is excellent. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a superior no-compromises experience. Also the adaptive lighting feature is super neat bonus.

Has both high refresh rate and high resolution. The bezels are really slim. Works great with Macbook pro 14 inch with a thunderbolt to displayport cable. Works good with PS5 as well with the exception of the screen going dark for 5 seconds when loading up a game that has support for 120hz mode.

Excellent monitor. I went from a 1080P 60Hz to this and frankly it is night and day. Amazing performance for my Xbox Series X, which is the main reason I bought it. Just wish it would automatically switch to the active input after turning on the device that is connected. It's a feature my previous monitor would do, and I hate having to manually switch between different inputs, but it's a small gripe, nothing really wrong with it.

Absolutely LOVE this monitor. The true king of 4K gaming. Does get some back bleeding in the corners if your screen is black but what screen doesn’t? Hopefully LG can make an affordable OLED gaming monitor eventually and really revolutionize gaming monitors. Overall satisfied. The LG software for on screen control makes it way easier to control the monitor settings.

Absolutely amazing monitor. There are no speakers, but there's a handy 3.5mm jack that you can hook up anything to. The speed and response time puts you eons ahead of the competition. Easy set up, no tools required. The monitor is heavier than I expected. There is a tiny joystick and a small click wheel at the bottom center of the monitor to navigate the menus.

This monitor is a beast with the specs it has. The HDMI 2.1 makes it one of the best if not the best monitor you can get for the new consoles and for pc it works wonders and works straight out of the box with 4k 120hz and 4k 144/165hz (PC). I strongly recommend this monitor and sadly I had to return it because of some dead pixels but I bet it was just an isolated issue and if you get one when they can start selling them again, I doubt yours will have the same issue. Another issue I had was that a pc game (Valorant) didn't play on fullscreen on this monitor for some reason so maybe a firmware update can fix it if happens on other users but not much to complain about. I would've bought this monitor again if it was available but due to the manufacturing situation, I had to buy another monitor that's basically the same specs and panel with minor differences from another company which I'm waiting for to get shipped. I don't know much about the other monitors that compete with this one, but you won't be disappointed if you're thinking about getting it. Hopefully, yours won't have the same issues mine had.
