Unexpected Results had us happy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We returned a similar model with 4K & smart features from SONY because the remote felt cheap and the power indicator light was so faint, you couldn't tell when it was on or not. Only LG has a BRIGHT illuminated indicator to tell you that the power is off/on. Sometimes, it is the little things that matter most.

This is a good dvd player

Great 4K Player

This is the first 4K player by LG I have owned but not the first piece of equipment by LG. I have had no problems with this player or any other pieces. Playback is smooth and crisp and the menu is easy to use.

Since the TV has all of the smart functionality I don't use that on the Blue Ray player. It is starting to feel as if DVD's and Blue Ray's are going the way of the DODO, which takes ownership from the buyer.

The upscale from standard Blu-ray discs into 4K is unreal. It is truly like watching a "real" 4K DVD...I am really impressed with the unit and highly recommend everyone looking to buy one!! Aaron

Great Blu-ray player

Over the thanksgiving holiday, my son-in-law connected it to our Netflix account through a wireless feature so that the grand kids could watch a movie in our new house before the cable or Dish had been hooked up to the TV in the loft. I was impressed!
