Since the old router was over 7 years old, this new one met all of our expectations and then some. I've not been able to choose a specific band before y til this one. I am very pleased.

very powerful router for large size homes with multiple devices to be connected. The only issue is this doesnt come with Cable modem plugin, so you have to have another separate modem.

Make sure you talk to someone at Best Buy so you don't pay for speed and range you don't need or use. This works great in our house and we have a big ranch where the range is needed.

Haven't had a single problem with this Linksys Max Stream AC2200. It's downstairs and looking at my phone, I have 3 out of 4 bars with just wifi on. It's going thru, the floor and 3 walls with no problem. Occasionally I have to shut it off and let it think about what its done.. (give it a time out) but then, once back on, all good for 3 or 4 mos. Just checked all 14 security cameras from up here with no problem on my phone. Plays well with VPN's. **NOTE TO BUYER**, When you get ANY wireless router, SET A PASSWORD! Don't just plug and play! If you have security cameras, and your wifi isn't locked with a password you COULD be hacked and everything going thru your security cams could be broadcast LIVE ONLINE! No cameras? Thats okay, other people like to "squat" or not pay for internet, and if they can get on your wifi with no password, and get internet for FREE, should YOU have to pay for that? Hmmm... Read the instructions, they're easy to follow and its easy to set a password. **

Easy setup and install. It was quick and worked as the instructions said. Great speed and range.

I love how you can use the Linksys app to make sure your router has internet. Setup done within 10 mins. Have noticed a big improvement in streaming movies, I no longer get buffering. The range covers my 3200sqft 2 story house. Speed of connections is great even at the edge of coverage.

This router is amazing! I have no dead spots in my home anymore and we can run multiple smart TVs, laptops and playstions all at the same time without ANY issue. Set up was a breeze, love that I can monitor everything from my phone and the CYBER monday price was phenomenal! Linksys makes a quality product for a tech savvy family. No more complaints about lags or having to restart the router. Love!

Bought this based on positive reviews, and it certainly lives up to them. Home is 1700 square feet, 8k lot. Wifi signal is fairly strong in all sections of property (including front / back yards) with expected loss of signal strength in the farthest regions. Yet latency is not an issue even with multiple laptops, phones, roku + arlo secutrity(4 cameras) vying for data. The MIMO focused data for each device is definitely a useful feature that takes the hassle of finding the best data stream away. This is especially useful with 3 bands to choose from. Overall extremely happy with this purchase, especially if it's on sale.

The Linksys tri band has been a huge improvement over an older Netgear.Also the BB price of $99 was 50% off the normal$199, no more dropped areas of coverage in the house!

Have it for 2 weeks now and so far so good! The speed is awesome! Now I can stream videos on my smart tv without buffering.

Bought this on black Friday with the intent to cut out of cable and do streaming only throughout the house. Works a lot faster then my tplink and it also has dual band.

I purchased this router recommended by Best Buy sales man with my situation as having issue in video streaming other rooms. Tried Netgear extender didn't work as expected. My house is 2 level, FIOS router in second living room so having problem with wifi, after I connected Linksys AC2200 wifi working all rooms. Had issue with configuration, called linksys support, they have me remove existing wifi connection in all devices and disable FIOS wifi, issue was resolved. Very happy about my purchase.

We are using this for 10 residents that have TVs, Laptops, Tablets, Phones, etc. We are not having dropped signals or lagging. It is Much better than our last Router.

Getting the extra square footage and the channeling made this exactly what I needed and it works perfectly. Reaching the rooms I needed it to that I couldn't before!

Picked the AC2200 to replace a very old Netgear, that was working well, but showing its age. The Linksys AC2200 could not have been more plug and play to get it operational. I initially thought I might miss some of the low level customizations, but I haven't needed them. In six weeks of use, haven't had a glitch yet and performance for multiple concurrent streaming has been very good.

No looking back now. My speeds increased 20-30 mbps after installing this. Wow what a difference the 5ghz can make on signal interference. 5ghz bands are the future!

I am not real tech savey but I found this WiFi easy to set up for my home. Seems to be great for our 1800 sq. ft. home.

This is the second Linksys product I have purchased. Both products have performed in an outstanding matter. The last one worked well for over 10 years. This time a different Companies product was recommended but I could not get it to work. I went back and bought this unit and was up and running in about 30 minutes on all of my equipment. Great product, great price and outstanding set up capability.

Needed this to get some more distance out of the router for my outside TV. TV is about 100 feet or more outside and this still gets connectivity. I recommend it.
