We can stream TV's all over the house with no problems. The AC3000 didn't cover the entire basement without the help of the extender.

We occasionally had to unplug/plug in to reconnect to mesh network. The fewer overall mesh nodes, the better.

My pc was lagging hooked directly into a node over Ethernet. I was able to use one of these to strengthen the signal to that node and I now don’t lose connection.

I think I finally have it working, but this one kept falling off our network. There's a WiFi setting called "node steering" that needs to be turned off, otherwise your node will connect to other child nodes and it may be too far away and cause it to go offline. I bought the "plug-in" type as a fourth because it it was in a home gym and I didn't want a regular base-station type to get knocked over and I don't have a lot of places to set it. Theoretically, they should work the same!

If the Linksys WHW0101P keeps on disconnecting, then please know that upon placing the extender, you may need to consider the obstructions that may cause the issue. You may try to relocate it or move it a bit closer to the other node and observe its connection. Internet connection on the far side of my house was non existent until I got this. Plug and play with super easy connection to the router. Would recommend this product to anyone lacking good service in their home.
