Easy to install and connect. Was able to connect to my lock with no issues

I didn't buy this standalone Wi-Fi hub kit by itself since it came included with my Lockly Pro editions but it is definitely a must-have item that unlocks some key new features for previous Lockly buyers that bring them up to the same online capabilities as the newest Pro edition. You save about $30 by just buying the Pro edition over the Plus edition, so if you are a new Lockly customer it is cheaper to just buy the Pro kit. Here's a quick rundown of the key features this Wi-Fi hub kit enables: 1) Remote Lock/Unlock capabilities. Before you had to send an eKey that was pre-generated by the Lock itself to grant access or a one-time code, but now you can remotely lock and unlock your Lockly over the internet on-demand with the same touch of a button without being in Bluetooth range. 2) Amazon Alexa/Google Home integration. This actually worked surprisingly well. It takes additional steps to verify and connect your Amazon account to your Lockly account, but it is all done securely within each app. Instructions on how to do this weren't great but I did end up getting this to work with a little googling. There is slightly longer delay for voice commands to register, but now I can ask "Alexa is the garage door unlocked?" or "Alexa, unlock the garage door" and it works. 3) Door Sensors also tell you if your doors are open/closed rather than just locked and unlocked. You also get a push notification when your doors are opened/closed and all of this can be configured via app. Overall, I was impressed with how quickly and easily the WiFi hub was detected and set-up. It was actually much faster than similar device set-ups that use a combo of bluetooth and wifi to establish connection. I was able to connect to my Velop mesh WiFi much faster than setting up a node on the actual Velop system, and once I entered my SSID password I was connected quickly with a few door open/closes to verify synchronization. After using the Lockly for about a week, I can't imagine not having these features so I imagine previously Lockly owners will feel the same way and that it was worth the wait. It is probably the most killer feature along with the Fingerprint reader on the Plus and Pro models. Big kudos to Lockly for backporting this with the foresight to design their older locks to still be compatible with this Wi-Fi kit.

Pricey system but works great. Just not sure why this was not built into the lock itself. The only reason I bought this lock system over the Yale/Nest was the scrambling keypad. Just seems more secure to me. Worth picking up just know the system is pricey.
