The magnet isn't strong enough to hold the phone. I put the square in the case as in the instructions. Phone fell off just touching it and just done ant hold well. If you put the square on the outside I'd imagine it would work better. Both my vehicles also have controls near the vents which the phone blocks. In fact never had a vent that wasn't near some controls on the drivers side. I'd say this just not enough thought went into this. Could have been much better!

Product seems to give off bad magnetic radiation which screws up my battery percent on my aging iPhone 6 phone. I really wish I hadn't bought it.

This seems like a great idea and probably is if you do not use a case. I use a Magpul case and the magnet was not strong enough to hold the phone

It's OK if you have a small phone but I have an iPhone 7 Plus in the way to the phone along with my vet spending not locking it won't work

What phone doesn't have a case!?! Well, in order for this product to work, take your phone out of the case, otherwise you will be SOL!

we bought this with our new Galaxy S7. The new phone, along with a heavy duty case, is too heavy for this mount. I would not recommend it.

Don't buy does not work properly. Returned it the same day. Falls off with and gentle movements.

The item is great, however, the only way to mount it is trough your vent. If your air conditioning is on, it will drain your phone's battery in no time. My phone was mounted and plugged into the charger, however, when I went to remove it to use it, it was completely dead. Logitech does not offer an alternative way to mount this item. Therefore, my conclusion is, I wasted my monies in something that does not work.

Only came with one sticker for my I phone case. You need at least 3 and for the price not worth it.

Magnet is not strong enough to be used with a hard shell case. Might work for you if you have a thin case or no case on your phone.

magnet too weak. Attachment clip does not account for height of lever to change vent direction.

Bougth this before a trip however it would ilnot hold to my iPhone. I ended up returning it.

Magnet doesn’t keep the phone secure on the dashboard. Phone drops off on curves. Now it barely works.

I had a Speck case on my Samsung S6, and this vent mount did not support my phone.

Only designed to work on very light handsets. Mine proved too heavy, and the case was too thick to properly attract the magnets to the base. One adhesive magnet constantly fell off, and the base barely fit onto my vent. Returned and purchased a proper vent mount instead. If you have a slim, light handset with a light (or no) case, it might work well for you. Otherwise? Look for alternatives.

I have s Ford Mustang and had problems with it moving while attached with the vent. I end up buying the other suction cup mount.

I purchase this item, and on the first day when I put the metal piece on my phone and connected it to the magnet it worked good. Only problem was, when I took my phone off the magnet, the magnet broke from the plastic piece that secures to your air vent and stuck to my phone. Useless!!! Only thing I got out of this was a sticky residue on my phone after removing the metal piece.

The magnet is not very strong. My phone has slipped off the magnet numerous times driving down the road.

Good in theory. But every time I went over rough road or a bump, my phone fell off. Really annoying.
