Very good intro level flightstick. Easy to set up, feels great to use.

Comfortable, sturdy feel. Buttons are responsive and require little force to activate, but not too little to misclick. Trigger is exceptionally satisfying. Movement is fluid and easy. For its price, this joystick is phenomenal - fantastic for an entry- to advanced-level experience. Leave it to Logitech to serve a high quality product for an affordable price. Gripes are few and minor. The throttle knob is a bit too easy to turn for my likes; I'm afraid I may accidentally nudge it and cause adverse effects. The main gripe is the software. Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) versions past 5.10.127 do not detect the joystick whatsoever, so users cannot use the latest version along with their other Logitech devices. User MUST download LGS version 5.10.127, which is a standalone version of the config software (versus the all-in-one later/current versions of LGS) for the joystick, in order to customize it in any way. Device has no force feedback, as expected. Bear this in mind when purchasing. If you desire a force feedback joystick, seek elsewhere.

if you are new to the joystick world, buy this one, is so cheap and it works really good on games with joystick support plus is heavy enough that it wont slip. that feeling of controlling a military jet or black hawk helicopter with a joystick is more realistic than any expensive mouse and keyboard.

If you were like me and wanted to get a bit more immersed in flight simulators without severely overspending on hardware and subsequently regretting it after not using it for months on end, the Extreme 3D Pro is just what you're looking for! It has just enough to get you by, while feeling quite sturdy for what it's worth. It also has fairly respectable compatibility in different games as well, so you're certain to find something that it's compatible with. All in all, it's a great starter controller!

Solid low end joystick, did not receive the 5th star as throttle seems relatively fragile and poorly placed. The ZR axis also drifts too much. Otherwise, great for the price and highly recommendable. This is used to play Elite Dangerous, no issues.

I recently purchased the rerelease of Star Wars Tie Fighter which requires a joystick to play. This joystick fulfills and exceeds my needs for that game so I also use it for War Thunder with ease.

This thing is basically the standard for casual gaming and flight sim. It's a no nonsense, just works, customizable button joystick. The only thing one might have a problem with is rudder control, but you can easily manage the sensitivity or when input is actually registered. It doesn't break the bank and will allow you to fly whatever you wanted to on your pc. I actually had the exact same model for years, and only purchased a new one due to having improperly stored the old one which damaged one of the axis. Glad to see they kept the quality good on these for over a decade.

Being a flight sim enthusiast and having owned multiple HOTAS sticks, I needed to get a joystick for my son, who's in elementary school. I needed a stick that was durable, affordable and easy to use. This is a great stick for these characteristics.

I bought this for flight simulation. I like the feel and button placement but it does lack forcefeedback. The twist axis does have some deadband but this is not an issue for me as I use foot pedals. The one con is there are no mounting holes in the base to attach it to the arm of my chair. I fabricated wood blocks to fit into the four corners of the base so it could be bolted down.

I bought this joystick for Star Citizen. For $30.00 it works fantastic. Unless you're a serious flight sim player or playing a dedicated dog fighter, this will do the job.

Looks like good quality. Still waiting to gift the is for Christmas and to use it. Hopeful it works with flight simulator program

I use this joystick in BF 4 and it works great No problems with Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 . If you are looking for a new joystick this is the one you need. easy set up and easy to use.

This thing released in 2004.. still not discontinued, and still in-stores. The gate way drug of the flight simulation world/gaming. For $30 you have nothing to lose, but your interest and curiosity. So you think you can fly a plane? Find out.

With multiple buttons and settings and x y z axis. Makes for a great joystick. I have seen others but for something less complicated this is the way to go.

I purchased this to control a robot. It works great for the X and Y axis, but the Z axis is almost impossible to control. The Z axis is the twist of the stick. The problem is it's almost impossible to move the X and Y axis without a little bit of twist. This makes the robot drive at an angle. I had to disable the Z axis and use a pair of button to control spinning left or right with the robot.

I really enjoyed my time using this joystick. I use it on a couple of different flight simulator games and it seems to work very well. On top of the performance, you can't beat the price. Very simple to set up and use.

These are hard to get anymore! For flight games and simulators these are so smooth and the jpystick does have skew for your rudder which is difficult to find at this price range...Heavy and durable although once in awhile you have to recalibrate center position...driver issue I guess...you;'ll see it when your plane is pulling to one side going down the runway...just unplugging it from usb port and replugging usually fixes it for me.
