I have always had good luck with Logitech and Best Buy only has 1 joystick to choose from. But they picked a good one. I started playing Elite: Dangerous and wanted a HOTAS setup again but wasn't going to order a Saitek X52 or X55. I had 1 before and I would lose button use month after month until it died. The throttle on the Logitech is ok but I wanted a better throttle in my left hand with buttons so I bought a second 1 and turned it into a throttle and reverse, strafe, and straight up/down with some extra buttons and it feels pretty good and at a great price. I'm just trying to figure out if I'm going to mount them to a board and set it on my lap or modify my chair to hold them on the armrests. I'm including a picture of them temporarily clamped to a 1x10 board.

I did some investigation before purchase and consulted with friends who were well versed in computer gaming. On line recommendations and their advise pointed me to this Joy Stick option. I am very pleased with the number of control buttons, hand comfort and reaction of the stick.

this product has rudder issues, it wants to bank to the left and I dont even have my hands on the controls. Horrible!

Simply love this joystick. Great design; fits great in the hand, and has plenty of programmable buttons, plus the nice hat button. The twist feature of the handle is perfect for rudder control without the need for an additional set of buttons (in the past I'd use A and D keys for rudder). It never needs recalibration--plug into the USB port and it is dead centered out of the gate. The base has a solid weight to it, and along with the rubber tabs on the bottom, it almost feels like it is glued to my desktop, which is great considering I tend to overpull the directional axis. In typical joystick play, this joystick has lasted me years; however, since I started playing World of Warplanes for long stretches of game sessions, I've been wearing the joystick out a bit (eventually it will get to the point I have to start calibrating it, and then calibrating it frequently--it seems to occur after about 5,000 matches played thereabout). The joystick is typically around $30 or less though, so feel like I really get my money's worth even if I had to replace it once a year. However, I paid the $7-9 for the Best Buy protection, and when it got to the point I was having to frequently re-calibrate it, I just took it in to Best Buy and they swapped it with a brand new joystick for free. This is my favorite joystick I've used in for the past couple of years, and certainly my favorite at this price point (I've always loved the CH Flightstick Pro, but it is typically 3x more money, so I've stuck with the Extreme 3D Pro and couldn't be happier).

All buttons and sticks are easily programmable and they immediately update in real time, no restart needed (must first install the stick's driver and software). 12 buttons, two joysticks and a switch tab. The base platform is wide and heavy enough to keep it firmly planted on a flat surface so the entire device does not tip over when doing aggressive moves with the stick. Product weight says 2 pounds, but to me it feels more like 4 to 6 pounds. Moving the stick feels firm, which is good so you don't over shoot your movements and frantically move back to align. The plastic material feels solid as steel. USB cable is long enough, about 6ft. Can't beat the price! The corner holes make it easy to set on a DIY side table if you build your own gaming seat simulator, you can use the holes as channel locks or run straps through them. I honestly can't think of any cons with this thing. It's perfect.

If you are looking for a joystick to get into flight sim for a very cheap price look no further because for the price this product is perfect. Not only do you get a joystick but it also has extra buttons you can map to whatever you like and it comes with an axis which you can use as a throttle. I have used this in DCS, Squad, arma 3 and star citizen without any issues at all.

Had one before but gave it to my grand nephew and needed a controller for flight sim. You get 12 buttons and a twist stick for rudder control if you want it. Works as it should and is recognised by flightsims and racing games I have tried it with. Good alternative to the higher priced controllers if you don't want to use a keyboard and mouse only.

For a cheap price the quality is great! I bought 2 for farming simulator 22/25, not what its intended for but it works. While yes, theyre both right hand joysticks, it still works great! Yes, some functions didnt work at first but you gotta remap the controls in settings of the game. I run equipment for a living and i find myself playing fs25 for logging. Lets say the joysticks make it feel like im operating my real machines at work! I HIGHLY recommend if you are on a budget for joysticks to get these! They will fulfill ALL of your needs for a low price.

You certainly can't beat the price. This budget joystick ticks all my boxes. It has all the buttons I need, and it twists, which is invaluable for taxiing my aircraft. It's nice and heavy, too, which helps me control things. It has a smooth, controlled action and seems to be perfectly centered. My flying has really improved since I bought this.

The Logitech Extreme 3D Pro is a high quality J-stick for less than 40 bucks. It is heavy enough to stay put on your desk while you are using it. It has 12 buttons you can program in simulators or games. Comes with a hat switch and continuous throttle. The stick will twist for yaw control. Feels good - works good. Stick will last 5 to 6 years of hard use. I know this because it is my second one.

its a beautiful piece but id like to know how to make the little throttle work on Roblox if anyone could tell me please do so but overall great thing also to use it you need an app called JoyToKey make sure you get that before use unless your not using a pc but great product!

Fantastic joystick. Only reason it isn’t 5 is that I wish it had force feedback. But for the price I paid, an absolute value . Very well made

works great on Flight Sims. Easily programmable buttons via the FSim software. Since this is a popular joystick, many flight sims readily recognize it. all axis seem stable, no jitter (some reviewers noted z axis problems, mine is fine). ergonomics very good, assuming you are right handed. No complaints. Been using it just a month, so long term performance not known.

Picked this up to play Elite Dangerous because mouse and keyboard flying is difficult. This joystick is fantastic, I plugged it in and was flying as soon as i booted up the game no configuration needed it worked right out of the box. The throttle is nice and easy to use. This is a great inexpensive joystick for entry into a HOTAS setup.
