Excellent Entry-Level Race Wheel

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I came from a Thrustmaster T80, and after spending hours getting the drivers to work on my PC, I gave up and got this set instead. Let me tell you: you absolutely get what you pay for. Force feedback absolutely changed the game for me in the best way possible. I mostly play Formula 1, and having some resistance while driving actually made my times faster. The pedals feel nice, and the brake pedal takes quite a bit more force to get to fully pressed down, but I actually prefer it that way. The leather-wrapped steering wheel feels solid in my hands and the shifters are large, have great tactile feedback, yet aren't loud at all when they're used. Overall, I'd say you can't get a better entry-level race wheel and pedals for sim racing, particularly if you enjoy racing on PC or Xbox. My only real complaint with it is that there are far too few buttons available for me to use in F1, however that may just be more of a "game" problem and less a "hardware" problem.

The best racing wheel set w/o breaking the bank

I bought an XBOX 1S and Forza 6 because of this and also bought the extra G-Force stick shift which was $40 less. The whole package got me back to playing serious racing sim games again. I know there are more realistic setup out there but those are thou$ands worth. I'm not a pro driver, so this is good balance of realism and video games. Drive hard any car I want, on any track in the world within the safety and comfort of my living room. Perfect indoor waste of time especially this winter!

The brake pedal is a bit stiff, but ti should be more forgiving after more use. Overall, an amazing product

The brake pedal is a little stiff and i havent found a way to losen it up. Hopefully with time it will get better and easier to depress.

It's a good thing it was on sale

This wheel does it's job, has ok clamps, and has strong force feedback. Those are it's high points. It's low points are it's noisy (the one I got has gears that actually squeek), its clamp knobs could be grippier, the wheel has a large deadzone in the middle, and the brake pedal takes nearly all of my weight to press all the way (I'm 250 lbs). The whole set has a quality weight and feel to it but, it's a good thing I got this on sale.
