I only wanted the keyboard as I already had a mouse I loved, but got this set to keep from having to use two USB ports. I love the keyboard, but wish the mouse was a little bigger. It feels like it should be for a kid due to the size. Maybe I got a little spoiled in the size of the prior mouse I was using. I will say that the keyboard and mouse are quiet as stated.

MK295: "Mushy" Typing experience (but high quality

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far, after using it for a couple of days, I must say that I am impressed, considering the low cost of this keyboard. he MK295 is indeed very quiet -- which is great for me, since I have a video conferencing mic right next to the keyboard. Build quality is great, and mouse is perfectly sized. However, I am posting this review so that people know the typing feel is kind of unsatisfying. The best way I can describe it is that it is both simultaneously too stiff (you have to push on each key harder than a normal keyboard) as well as too mushy (once you push down, it feels like you are pressing on styrofoam). It is not very pleasant. If I didn't need the "quiet" typing experience I would definitely opt for the other model.

Would be perfect, if had Unifying Receiver.

The keyboard and the mouse are much quieter than the predecessor, which I also have. I like the feel of the key press. I bought this combo just for the keyboard. The mouse is small and very basic. It works as as it should, but since I use another, higher end Logitech mouse, I don't have much to say about it. I would give it 5 stars if this set would work with Unifying Receiver. Unfortunately, it's not.

I would recommend this keyboard to everyone. I never bought a white keyboard and this one looks very pretty.

The mouse required some adjusting in the OS but the keyboard is superior to other membrane keyboards and is worth the purchase.

Very quiet keyboard

This keyboard does the job PERFECT. He is over there typing away and I am able to have piece of mind and do my homework without having to go into another room. He likes the simple, no frills generic design. It isn't lacking any of the basic features of a standard keyboard. The price was definitely right, too. Seems good quality and sturdy. I really can't get over how quiet it is. One little plus, it came with batteries! Yay! All we had to do was plug in the usb chip and it was ready for immediate use. Wish I purchased much sooner!

They still make some noise but are significantly quieter than my previous mouse and keyboard. I feel like the longer I have used the keyboard it has begun to make slightly more noise, but again, it is so much quieter than my previous keyboard that I do not mind at all. It isn't loud at all. I was having some connectivity issues with the keyboard at first that required me to turn the keyboard off and on frequently in order to be able to type, but that issue seems to have resolved itself.

Getting up early to work before my wife was out of bed made more noise than I was comfortable with. This purchase was well worth it in my opinion. The keyboard and mouse are both totally silent. She can keep sleeping!

Really great keyboard & mouse

I really like the soft touch keys (I’m a touch typist). And I really like that both items have an OFF switch to save battery. My old keyboard ate batteries. Great purchase at a great bundle price.
