The game is not as hard as Elden Ring, and good armor is really easy for enemies to drop them. Enemies do a lot of damage as well. The game is balanced differently. The graphics are way better than Elden Ring, this looks more realistic. And the game feels very open. Even though this is not considered an open world game a lot of the different locations connect to each other

Lords of The Fallen is a remake of the orginal that has the same name but it is also a sequel due to taking place after the original. It is a souls like game with its own twist and mechanics. It is very challenging and implements some new mechanics to the genre.

The moment I saw it I liked it because it looked like a mix between the aesthetics of Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls. The game might not be as excellent as the previously mentioned but it’s a fun title worthy of a chance

Great game and its pretty tough in spots. Worth a playthrough. There are some frame spikes but it does run great most of the time.

If your a soulslike fan then this fits right in. I would say this one has been pretty challenging with just the regular mob density. And so far there seems to be alot of different weapons and gear so thats always a plus. And the artwork looks amazing. At launch the gamr had some minir problems but they have pretty much fixed all that in patchs which is pretty normal. Over all this game is perfect for souls like.

I played the og LotF. Tho I enjoyed it, this game takes it to a whole new level. Combat is satisfying when you get used to it as it is tough. Like any good soulslike, it will keep you coming back to defeat that a-hole giving you a hard time. The game honestly feels like DS & BB rolled into one. Pretty graphics and intricate lvl design make this game a top contender. Albeit, can be a bit buggy at times but nothing too vexing.

Game is fun but a little clunky at times for my taste. Someone once said if you enjoy dark souls 2 then you’ll love this game and I couldn’t agree more. I’ve had fun while playing this but I have yet to beat it but overall a solid game.

After around 20 hours, the game is really fun so far (PS5). Builds are fun and diverse. Most bosses pose a fun and engaging challenge. There are some weird input glitches where your character might roll the opposite way that you want and sometimes getting through an area poses more challenge than the boss itself. Other than a few issues, the game is definitely worth a pickup and has so much potential.

A unique take on the souls genre. Beautiful graphics that look incredible on a nice Oled display, a cool gameplay mechanic that lets you swap between two versions of the world and cool enemies.

I was never really into the “souls” genre until Elden Ring, and even that took some warming up to. I saw an ad for Lords of the Fallen and thought it looked cool, but was hesitant to do another in this ARPG style. So glad I did! The visuals are stunning - better than ER, and I personally like the style more too. The combat is very similar, but the added element of the Lamp puts on another layer. The thing I really enjoy is the puzzle element - while not mind bending, it’s a nice change of pace determining when to shift realms and how to move past obstacles like gaps using the lamp. Overall a great and, in my opinion, underrated game!

The game looks like a next gen game but the combat is a but clunky and the hit box a hit or miss. I think if you can get this gane for $40 or less than it is a good deal.

Pretty good Soulslike. The level design stands out and so does the music. Enemie design is pretty wicked. The controls can seem a little janky. If you're a fan of Dark Souls and Elden Ring, then a recommend getting this game.

First and foremost, I am a huge Soulsborne/Souls-Like fanatic. I love the challenge that those types of games provide me along with the environmental storytelling, When I heard that Lords of the Fallen was getting a soft reboot, I followed the game's progression closely.
When the release date of Friday the 13th arrived, I was very excited.
Let me say that the game doesn't disappoint visually or narratively. The combat mechanics, however, aren't perfect and hopefully will be updated in the near future.
The game is rich with gothic visuals and sounds, Lords of the Fallen just drips with Dark Souls inspiration all over. There are several classes to choose from and I suggest that you choose carefully unless you're willing to put a couple of hours in and then start all over.
In typical Dark Souls like fashion, there are challenges around every corner that will force you to die over and over again all while grinding to raise your XP. But it's so worth it as some of you familiar with this genre will know.
My biggest issue with this game is the lock on system during combat. Despite me going into the settings and turning off auto lock on, the game will still randomly lock your cursor onto an enemy that's not an immediate threat all the while the real threat is about to hit you and you are desperately trying to lock onto it. It's frustrating to say the least. But this issue isn't enough for me to throw away the game. I love it too much.
If you or someone you know is looking to fill in the void of a Soulsborne experience until the Elden Ring expansion release, then I suggest Lords of the Fallen.
WIth its alluring set pieces and immersive sound design, you will spend hours with this game and have frustrating fun.

Combat feels clunky, and somehow I feel underleveled at the beginning of the game. Obviously some balancing issues. Animations look weird, performance is underwhelming, level design is eh, and boss design is not too good so far.
I've beat Demon's Souls (original and remake), Dark Souls 1-3, Sekiro, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, and just recently Lies of P. Lords of the Fallen just doesn't feel good to play. I had issues with Lies of P for having some strange gameplay decisions, but this game makes Lies of P look much better in my eyes.
Overall, LotF is absolutely not worth $70. It looks nice, I guess, but that's really the only positive. You can get all of the other games I mentioned above for at the very least $10 less.
