The video is great and very high definition. I can't figure out how to use the audio yet. Also there is no software and what it does come with is very hard to learn how to use. It is great at night. PICTURE GREAT. My only complaint is that you need a rocket scientist to work the program on the hard drive it comes with. Other than that, it is a great item. My house is big and I could never tell when people were in the parking lot or at one of the doors on different floors. Now I can!

Mobile APP pretty straight forward, Quality of the video is about 720P Great at short distances, but looses quality about 20ft away from the camara, great night vision! and pretty good range even trough walls (aprox 50 ft away ), Excellent 1-800 customer support

Despite the fact that the entire 4-camera system cost less than a quality point and shoot camera, it works exceptionally well! The setup couldn't be easier... I only needed the instructions to setup the app on our phones. The most difficult part was hanging/adjusting the cameras to get the exact view we wanted. The image quality is more than acceptable for home monitoring, such as to see whether someone is in your driveway, garage door left open, etc., but you will not be reading license plates or getting super detail from the system. Reception is reliable and rarely drops. Our furthest camera is approximately 120 feet away with four walls between it and the receiver. Night vision is surprisingly good and consistent with its distance rating. No problems so far and we are very satisfied. The only downside is that the app can be a little fussy sometimes (usually when on a slow connection) and the system itself uses a lot of band-with. I assume this is a common issue with all wireless systems though. I would definitely recommend this system to anyone looking for a quality budget home monitoring system.

This is the system that you want! Trust me, I spent over a month researching nearly every wired and wireless surveillance system out there. This is Lorex's newest system so I was a little leery about buying an unproven product, however the cameras themselves had great reviews so I took a chance. Let me point out one major aspect of this, or any other wireless system when it comes to the remote (app) viewing....you MUST have at least 20 mbps wireless internet speed but more importantly, at least a minimum 7 Mbps upload speed as well. I have 53 Mbps download and a 12 Mbps upload and I see no interruption in bandwidth service. If not, it'll suck all of your bandwidth speed leaving you without internet in your home or office. Also the wireless range for the cameras is a little exaggerated from what they claim. I maxed out the range on two of my at about 110-115 feet stretching from on corner of the house (receiver) to the other mounting the camera on the exterior of the house. Clear line of sight is a good 2-2/12 times that. The online app is great! It's easy to use and accessible anywhere in the world with a wireless (or cellphone data) access. The only difference is that the app can only support 20 fps (frames per second) and opposed to 30 fps of the live feed from the receiver. Night vision is good to excellent. With just a little extra ambient lighting (I.e. From a street light) you get a good 150 feet of good resolution. In pitch black I'd say you get what they advertise, roughly 90 feet. The only thing as of now (I've only had the system up and running for two weeks) that I can bad mouth about this system is that their are no programming instructions for the receiver. The install instructions are wonderful and easy to follow. But I'm still trying to muddle through the programming ins-and-outs. All-in-all, if you are going to spend the time money and effort to put in a surveillance system, spend they money to put in a surveillance system. There is a lot of junk out there that's just that....junk. This for the money is truly worth your time and money.

it is not easy to setup at all, the instructions are horrible. The settings are confusing once you finally get it setup and the video quality is not that great. The night vision is great though. I have a horrible time watching video live or playback it takes like 5 seconds for every 1 second of video to load because of how much data it uses.

This system was easy to setup and also looks great! The price was just about right and the picture resolution is good. We put these in a maintenance bay and it works well in low light areas also.

This product was etter than I expected. It is a very professional product and very easy to install. I called tech support for the computer viewing set up and they did the whole set up for me. They were a great help. I can now view my property anywhere in the country or world on my portable devices. I has great viewing quality and do not need to drill holes th run tons of cables.

Cameras work well and show a decent picture. Cameras will work through windows during day time but not at night due to window acting as mirror. My biggest problem is that the signal from the cameras to the receivers slows my internet connect down, since my only option is dish it is a problem. May not be a problem if you have fast internet.

This security system is better to use indoor as the cameras still require the power cords to power the cameras. While this system provides clear pictures, the images are not HD. As with any surveillance cameras today, the installations are easy. Just my opinion, I would prefer other security systems that are wired systems that utilize the Power-Over-Ethernet technology. However, this wireless DVR system is great for business as no wires needed to connect to the hub.

I had very high expectations with this "traditional" camera system, but it all turned into a huge, frustrating pain. (BTW, I knew each camera had wifi reception, but still needed corded power; unfortunately this is a limitation of even the newest systems...this needs fixing!) Took HOURS to set up; very spotty and mixed reception of cameras; video quality was something out of an old 80's movie's security camera footage; and all of the control software is WAY outdated. In general, the system feels state of the art for about 1990. After so much difficulty and frustration, I got the system to function to the best of its ability...but that was not even close to the quality level and ease of so many other camera systems available today. I returned this, and ended up getting the Samsung cameras (indoor and outdoor) and have been VERY pleased! (I do have several enhancement and improvement requests I've sent to them, but even as is, their system is fantastic!) At the end of the day, these types of system will fade out, so I wouldn't bother getting tied to old tech.

This is a great system but it interferes with the wifi signal since its the same signal which causes it lower my speed from 50megahertz to 3!!! If they were to change up the output on the router this would be a great system!

I think the cameras are a deterrent. Can't stop physically vandalism or breaking and entering, but now can record and have others catch the scumbags. Works well. Had to change the channels to stop collisions with WIFI printer.

Easy to set up and view. It did slow down my other devices so I needed to get a dual band router. That solved the internet problem but the router doesn't work with my smart TV so now I need a new television! : )

the system is a quality product. the image is clear and it is relatively easy to set up (it takes some technical knowledge). The only drawback to me is that you must research online to understand how the system works overall, especially the ECO Stratus.

The video quality is low and when I try to watch the videos online live or review its almost impossible. if your using a cable service provider the upload speeds are a huge problem it seems because the cameras use up the entire upload bandwidth.

Cameras are easy to install, and work ok. However, the wireless camera receivers interfere with your wifi speed. Initially it almost disabled my wifi, after locking my modem channel it now cuts my download speed by about 70%. Lorex's customer service is impossible to get ahold of, and was little help. I would not recommend this product to anyone who uses wifi.
