I do love it but it took a bit to get it set up right but that kind of goes along with these things. I got it because of the way you access the camera gear which is from the rear. It works for me when out hiking and because of the way I like to work. My only complaint is the front accessory area, only zips halfway. Now I understand why they did it this way but it can get annoying for smaller items. Very comfortable and I can actually get two cameras (one with lens attached) in the pack along with a 300 mm lens and a flash.

I bought this backpack a few months ago and I have been so happy with it. This backpack fits all you need and also has a nice place for your tripod, it also looks very nice and is classy, specially the black one. I recommend this if you have several heavy lenses like I do (several primes and zoom lenses). You will not regret buying this. I give it 5 stars

I use this bag to hold two full frame bodies, a 24-105 Lens, and a 100-400mm lens. Tight fit, but you can make it work. Overall I'm happy with the quality and would recommend for small outings. If your hiking around alot you might want to buy a backpack better designed for that purpose than this.

This is a great looking bag but it is poorly designed. The large opening to access your equipment is under the shoulder straps in the back of the bag (Flipside). In order to get to your camera and lenses out, you have to lay the bag face down and try to take out your gear with the shoulder straps in the way. I wish I looked closer at the picture before I ordered it. Very disappointed.

I purchased this bag to replace my Lowepro Pro Runner 200 AW (an older model, not to confuse with the current lineup of Pro Runner bags). Mainly I was looking to have the same type of bag with a tad more capacity to carry equipment. Before selecting the bag being reviewed, I gave consideration to the following bags:
Lowepro Transit Sling 250 AW, but frankly I don’t like this type of bag. I’m not a fan of the side access (theft) and I just couldn’t come up with an arrangement that would work for me. This is a bag that I actually own, I got it as a part of a package when I purchased my current camera.
Lowepro Photo Classic 300 AW. this bag was as close as it got to my current bag. So this was my first choice. Once I tried it at the store, I hated it. The bag feels boxy and stiff, there is no sternum strap and the shoulder straps felt uncomfortable to me.
The Flipside 300 AW II appeared similar in carrying capacity. Internal space is divided differently, this pack is somewhat longer, so from the perspective of how it would fit my equipment I was not able to figure it out until I tried it a couple of times back home. So for now, at the store felt like a good fit. Overall having it on my back felt like a good fit. Shoulder straps seemed comfortable, there is a sternum strap as well. The one part that is ridiculous is the waist strap which you’re supposed to use to have the pack lean against you when opening the pack for access without placing it on any surface. I just wouldn’t trust my equipment to this. A fall would be catastrophic! Unfortunately these are not removable and there’s no place where you could tuck them away. On the bright side, they don’t seem to get in the way much if you move them to the lower portion of your bag. On the outside it has the parts needed to attach a small tripod, mesh bags to the side for water bottles or similar items. There are no cords or similar holding for a light jacket to be carried on it when not in use (something I had got used to in my previous bag).
Internally, I had to rearrange how I was loading the pack before I could come up with 2 setups that would work for me. Setup 1 is a “Load as much as you can” type of set up, it would have me carry the camera, 3 lenses, the hoods for my 2 largest lenses, 2 flashes, 1 radio transmitter for the flashes, battery charger for the camera’s battery, battery charger for the flashes batteries, dust blower, camera strap and other small miscellaneous items; Setup 2 is more of “day trip” type of set up, camera attached to one lens, 2 other lenses, the hoods, 1 flash, so essentially I’m leaving out 1 flash, the transmitter, battery chargers. The main gain is I now can have the camera attached to the lens (see attached pictures).
Another comment I have, I may be wrong, but it doesn’t look like the 300, 400, 500, etc. relate to the volume/space available to store equipment. In other words, I would like to have it for sure that along all of the Lowepro bags, a 400 would hold twice as much as a 200, a 300 50% more than a 200 and so on.
Overall I like the bag, I was having second thoughts until I came up with the set ups mentioned above. Would I have purchased a different bag? Maybe the 400 if I had tried it. I feel camera backpacks are like shoes, you have to try them on to know if they really fit YOU. A larger bag would have made the job easier of packing the bag without all of these changes and particularly without having to carry the camera separate from the lenses. I felt tempted to return it for the same reason and order the 400, however that would had me carry more stuff than I actually need more often! So I decided to keep this bag.

This bag is fantastic. There's enough room for my camera with lens attached, 2 additional (long) lenses, large flash attachment, backup batters, lens cleaning kit, and plenty room for other accessories. There are also several different convenient option for attaching a mono-or tri-pod to the exterior, and the attached but hidden rain cover is an excellent addition. Perhaps most importantly, this bag is intelligently designed with supporting waist and girth straps so that the weight is distributed extremely efficiently and comfortably. Highly recommended!

Convenience: Love how it flips around. Easy to take out equipment while standing up. Has water bottle holders on both sides.
Space: Good enough for its size. Did not want a bigger bag, but this one still fit everything I need. My previous bag did not have a front pocket and I have found this very convenient for personal belongings. The main space is customizable to fit whatever lenses you bring with you.
Security/Safety: Hard for the main space/pocket to be pickpocketed since zipper is against your back. Also has a convenient rain cover!

This backpack is very comfortable to wear. It has a built in rain cover you can pull out and cover the pack. Plenty of adjustable dividers inside also. Room for the camera with a short lens on it, also space for a telephoto and prime lens. I have my chargers and remote shutter release inside also. There is a zippered compartment at the top for the extra batteries and cards. The front compartment hs room for your Ipad or notepads and pens. Can carry two water bottles on the sides. Best part is the zipper to get at the camera and lenses is against you when you are wearing it which should make it very difficult for someone to get at your equipment without you knowing.

Grabbed this bag, a great product. Lots of pockets to store equipment needed. Padding on the bag protects your camera with ease of mind. Used on a hike and was very comfortable to wear. Used waste strap and rotated bag in front and was able to open the bag and grab the camera and it was like a table in front the way it was built to be used.

I travel with an AAU basketball team and take mostly video. We were going to be traveling to Texas for a long weekend of games. I needed a pack to carry all of my gear with out having to leave anything behind. This pack did it all. The items I have in it are way too many to list. Now I leave everything in the pack and just grab and go. Getting through airport security was a breeze as well with the ability to fully open the whole compartment for viewing. This pack also fits in an over head or under the seat in front of you. Way too many positives to list. I would buy this pack again in a heart beat. Great product. The only negative would be add more dividers please.
Just off of the top of my head some of the items are:
Spark Drone/ controller
Sony AX53
Rode Video Micro
Full tripod
Lighting
All charging cables and batteries plus spares.

I recently went mirrorless and was looking for a backpack to accommodate my everyday needs. On a daily basis I carry;
My Sony a6400 w/ a battery grip and 18-135mm lens,
A spare battery and my rear lens and body caps,
iPad Pro 11in w/ Apple Pencil and keyboard cover,
A usb c hub,
External hard drive,
An SD card case,
Two Portable Chargers,
A USB C wall charger,
A USB A wall charger,
A few charging cables,
A pair of Shure SE215’s,
A 32oz water bottle,
A pair of sunglasses,
My keys,
And some assorted emergency supplies (inhaler, bandaids, etc)
I can carry all this in this backpack and still have room for 2-3 more lenses and maybe a notebook. It fits great and feels good while I’m wearing it. My only complaint is that I have to have my iPad and its case separate since they wont fit in the sleeve together. I also wish the inner sides of the bag had more hook and loop to allow for better customization. But both of those things are minor complaints and in comparison to everything else, barely even matter. I’d say it’s maybe a bit expensive, but it seems like it’ll last for a long time.
Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would buy again, especially if it came down in price to a nice $99!

Backpack is great: padded, comfortable, chest and hip straps. The only two downsides were know at purchase, but for online buyers, a late gen MacBook 13” will not fit except in the compartment with the camera (not recommended: it’s tight and pressure from back on camera). Other note is that it holds heat when hiking:expected with the padding, no mesh, etc.

The Lowepro Flipside is a great concept and this bag would get an excellent rating from me if the waiststrap were a bit broader and more comfortable when the Flipside is actually "deployed." Still the feature is so handy and the price is so much more reasonable than the other big-name bag that functions in much the same way, that I chose the Lowepro bag. I currently have 2 rather minimalist motorcycles, and this bag will carry one of my good cameras with my 150-600mm lens. I can pull to the side of the road, swing the bag around in front of me without actually taking it off, rest it on the tank, open the back, and pull out the camera. This is considerably faster than hopping off the bike and opening a saddlebag to grab the camera or shucking a regular backpack to access my camera. And buying the bag didn't set me back a bundle of cash.

I know what everyone says, why spend that much money on your bag. Well if you have nice equipment you should have a nice bag that not only holds you camera and gear but keeps it safe. I bought bags off amazon but truly this one is my favorite. This brand makes better ones that are bigger but they are twice as expensive. Pick your bag wisely, this Lowepro brand is my favorite camera bag brand out there. Its the jansport of camera bags. Good buy!!

This Lowepro product is an excellent camera backpack. It has lots of space to store your camera body, lenses, and accessories. It comes with multiple useful pockets (including one to fit a tablet) and a rain cover to protect the backpack's contents. And the backpack's main compartment -- which has adjustable Vecro segments -- opens from the side facing your back to deter a potential thief from stealing your most important camera equipment, while you are wearing the backpack.

This camera bag is light and perfect for every day use. A mirror less camera has a lot of room plus room for a DJI Mavic Pro with controller, three lenses, GoPro and needed cables. I like this form factor due to its simple design. You have space for a 10’ iPad or any tablet of your choice. There isn’t a lot of extra space. So you need to be purposeful on what you will need foe the day. Glad I got it.

This bag is pretty good quality. Im a bit ocd so its nice to have many different compartments to put your lenses, sd cards, camera & many other things.
I personally fit a sony a7rii , 50mm , & 85mm lens with more space for another lens or 2 if needed.
The bag is padded throughout so you have decent protection if not dropped off a mountain lol.

I have found this to be very practical. After having a previous backpack zipper fail.........the way this is constructed means it is highly unlikely the camera will fall out and break. It also has some hidden extras including a rain protection bag.
Could use better instructions. Had to check YouTube to learn all of the features.

Always an issue of too big a bag or too small. This is just right, in that I can carry a 70-200MM lens, 24-70 lens and my 85mm lens. Plus have room for some gadgets. I have several "back open" type cases. A larger one for more lens and a smaller one for just the camera and one extra lens (all short ). The brand has always been of good quality.
