Water filter is automatically sent every 6 months. This is a real convenience to me because I frequently forget to pick one up automatically. So since a very nice sales lady helped me sign up for automatic delivery of this filter just prior to when I need it. I feel it is a godsend. Thank you.

If you have an LG refrigerator with a water dispenser, then you probably need this for the dispenser to work. It seems to do the job...and the installation is pretty simple. The worse part is the initial flushing...quite a bit of water to 'cleanse' or 'prepare' the filter for normal use.

This item easily fit into the refrigerator. And the sales associate was very helpful in identifying the correct filter to fit my fridge.
