I still believe the original Mafia was the best in regards to story however this Mafia 3 has so much more stuff and looks amazing. Great price for this game!

Not really sure why there has to be such language and negative content in this game. The timestamp is true to year of violence.

This is a great open world game. I love to do all side missions and enjoy the story. If you like GTA, this is a great game to add to your collection.

I bought this game game mainly for the setting, since I live in the New Orleans area. They took a lot more liberties than I would have liked with the setting, but still it's a pretty decent representation. What I dont care for is the main character's moral ambiguity. Without spoilers, you play as a man committing heinous crimes right off the bat. This dulls the attachment to his journey. But what do I know, I'm in the 1% who dislikes GTA5, so take my opinion for what it's worth.

The game has a really good story. The gameplay is good at first but becomes repetitive.

The game does have a really good story that pulls in real history from the time. The setting of the game was great along with most of the cast of characters. The game gets really repetitive and most missions are done twice to close out sections of the city. Fun to burn through the story but not worth trying to unlock everything.

The way this game is narrated is awesome! You are playing a character from the past, and people from the present are telling your story. It is pretty cool!

mafia and mafia 2 were great , 2 being my favorite so as to be expected i was excited for this one, the major thing about this game is that it is not the open world it claimed to be , it does give us a world but it's more like free roam with minimal activities , u can rob store , hurt civilians and a few more things but don't expect anything like GTA V , u will be disappointed. as far as gameplay goes it's a typical cover shoot , stealth and teritory take over like Assassin Creed's series or even mad max but the mission are way too tedious , exp u have several bosses to kill but they will always be hiding and u need to lure then out. u can do that by kill their underlings , gather intels , rob their store , etc to cause certain amount of damage , once ur done they will tell u where to go but THAT IS ALL YOU DO! 80% of the game , must've been like 20 plus bosses with same routine so i suggest wait for a price drop. $ 40 with gamer's club unlock for additional 20% would be a sweet spot IMO. 3 stars because it's not a bad game but we are in 2016 now so open world really needs to be open world , not free roam open ended game

Mafia III had a lot of promise. First off Mafia II was a decent game to work off of, however it was extremely linear. Mafia III is an open-world shooter set in 1968 New Orleans. The game is extremely violent and extremely vulgar. There are jaw-dropping examples of racism (reflective of the 1960s south, I imagine.) The storyline is great, as you follow Lincoln Clay fighting his way through mafia gangs that killed his friends and almost him. Mafia III falls apart in two main ways: glitchiness and repetition. The game is so glitchy: crashes every few hours, terrible lighting effects, and impossible lines of sight by enemies. The repetition of the game is extreme. Every mission involves a little sneaking to kill some guards and then a shoot-out. There are some fun collectibles to gather along the way. I would only recommend renting this game or buying on extreme discount.

Great mature game. Pretty brutal story. I don't want to ruin it, just play it. Only thing that sucks is that there is a lot of driving.

I got it for my son for Christmas and he has been playing it since Christmas Night! Best Buy shipped it fast and it arrived in great shape!

It's a good game and will keep you entertained but once you start progressing through the game it will get a bit repetitive. Maybe wait till it goes on sale to buy it. don't get me wrong it's a good game it's just I don't think it's 59.99 good

Fun game, nice change of scenarios and era for the mafia franchise

Can't go wrong for the price. Regularly goes below $30 on sale, and for an open world game you can not go wrong at this price.

I came into this one mostly blind and am really glad I did. I own Mafia 2 on PC, but I had never played it. So coming to this I didn't know much about the series or what to expect and it was a pleasant surprise. The game is so much fun and when I get started playing it is hard to come to a stopping point. So addicting and the action is addicting. Some of these characters make you WANT to take them out just from the way they treat your character and the characters around them. It feels kind of satisfying in a weird way.
