Good starter software for making videos

He is learning how to use it and still new to making videos but he likes the way way he can add effects and music and certain transitions. He is 12 yrs old and already making progress better now with the Fascut program.

Fastcut has the purpose to get "first time"user to know the wonderful world of video Editing, hoping that once they understood the basic, they will "grow" and choose more professional application like Movie Edit Pro, Movie Studio Platinum, Video ProX or Vegas Pro.
