I purchased my first one of these a few years ago because I began to experience shoulder pain during long shoots. I bought a second one so my husband has one to use with the second camera body during the shoots we do as a team.

Wish I'd purchased this much, much sooner. Compact and easy to use, turns snapshots into great shots by ensuring things are sharp. Can be used many places where a tripod would not be allowed. I purchased a pistol-grip ball head to top it off, and it goes with me everyplace now. Build quality is quite good - expect to get many years out of this.

this monopod is handy for run and gun doc shooting when there is no time for setup moving from place to place be it a new location or just a few inches. it is lightweight and easy to move around with when you are loaded down with a camera with a large shotgun mic attached

This is a decent monopod for the cost. There are plenty online to choose from but I like to see and feel things before buying, and best buy doesnt stock to many in the stores. I went to fry's as they had about 15 on the shelves to choose from but none of them felt as sturdy as this one so back to best buy and picked it up.
Its a breeze to set and not to heavy. A must have if your getting into photography and want clearer pictures but have shaky hands.

My daughter performs in musical theater productions and this has made it much easier to take quality video without killing my arm and without the picture moving as I shift from hand to hand. Highly recommended for any long length videoing!

This monopod is very useful where just a bit more stability is needed. I also have the smaller version to carry with my smaller camera bag. Although I've never used it as such, it could also double as a walking stick.

Light weight, easy to carry and travel with. Perfect when space is limited. Works perfectly with my Canon 5D Mark III with 24-105 f/4L attached. Great build and great alternative when a full size monopod just isn't an option. Small enough to travel in a carry-on bag when flying.

Great alternative when carrying a tripod is not convenient! Sometimes I have had issues with the camera moving when I push the shutter release and this solves the problem! Great size and easily attaches to the side of my camera backpack.

Perfect fit, super light and versatile monopod. Easy to use, and the tighteners work really well. The strap comes in handy, but at times just gets in the way; minor nuisance, by no means a deal breaker (hey, you can always cut it off too if it gets that annoying).

This is a good monopod for the money, easy to use and carry. It's light weight and supports my canon 7d with a battery grip and my 70-200 2.8isII just fine. Build quality is great just like most manfrotto products are. Highly recommend!

Manfrotto is a great brand and has kept up their high level of quality while providing a great price point. Highly recommend this monopod. Perfect for photographers at any level. Great for those sports action shots of your kids both indoors and outdoors. Perfect for low light situations where you need the added stability.
