This game will hook you in once you play Mario Kart Wii. This game will change the level of your competitiveness 10 fold. This game can also go online up to 2 players on the wifi on the same wii at a time. Now indstead of 8 players in a race there are 12. I say Mario Kart Wii is sooooo worth it but you have to buy the wheel to. This game also has items like a bullet bill which goes super fast and makes you invincible and a star whitch makes you invincible and go faster and about 15 others that are just as good. This game has 32 maps to pick from but inorder to get the last 16 you need to get trophys. This game also has bikes and karts. They can all do tricks in mid air and when they land they get a boost but only bikes can do a wheely and get a small boost which just might get you 1st not 2nd. Also is you hold 2 which is to go at the beginning before it starts you will burn your engine, spin out and be delayed for start for about 3 seconds. This game also has world wide capabilities. It also comes with the wheel. The game only costs $50 and it comes with a wheel. Overall Mario Kart Wii is sooooooooooooooooo worth it.

This is definitely the best multiplayer game for the Wii. There are lots of fun, different courses, plenty of different karts and bikes, and lots of characters (it's great that you can play as your Mii). It's easy to pick up and play for first time players who will get help through better items if they fall behind. It is also a challenge for more experienced players. The multiplayer, both online and local, is the true strength of this game though; it's really great! A must-have game for the Wii!

Mario Kart Wii was another greatly looked forward to game. The main attraction being the wii wheel and online play. Does Mario Kart Wii live up to the hype... read on to find out. The first thing I'm going to talk about is new tracks and racers. Many people were dissapointed in Mario Kart Double Dash because there were only 16 tracks, In MK (Mario Kart) Wii that is not a problem. The 32 tracks will impress you, but 16 of the 32 are retro. Some of the retro courses are good but some are completely random. New items are introduced but they aren't that good. In MK Double Dash there were items unique to characters that no other racer could obtain, unfortunately these were not included in MK Wii. There are new racers which are nice. The inclusion of bikes are nice and offer a different style of racing. Now Grand Prix is only single player which is a dissapointment. It is basically the same idea with 4 races and best out of the four wins. There is frusterating AI that will go from being in 12th place to 1st in 10 seconds. There is also now 12 racers per game which (for me) makes the game more frantic and annoying. Battle mode is now also 12 player. A dissapointment is that all battle modes are team based, there is no every man for himself anymore. Battle mode is now singleplayer (Where you play against AI) as well as multi-player. In time trials you compete for the fastest time possible. Versus mode is still fun but the since the tracks were built for 12 people they seem really big when you're just playing with just 2 people. There are frame-rate drops when playing with people in splitscreen. Online play in Mario Kart Wii is amazing. There is pretty much no lag what so ever. Every regular multi-player mode is there online. You can play against friends or random people(up to 12). There are also tournaments where you race for best time on tracks that may have twists & turns, such as chain chomps running loose in Mario Circuit. Everybody has been wondering about the wii wheel. The wii wheel is great and responds really quickly on screen. The wheel is small, only a little bit larger than the remote itself. The wheel is a little uncomfortable to start but you will get used to it and become a racing pro. Mario Kart Wii didn't live up to all of its hype, but the online play blew me away. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys online play or racing. I give this game on a scale from 1-10 (10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest) a 8.2 out of 10.

I have been a Mario Kart fan ever since the Super NES days. What I love about Mario Kart Wii is how it's essentially reinvented itself...again. It's got brand new weapons and tracks and characters, but all the old throwbacks as well. I was also quite impressed with how responsive the Wii wheel is. And, of course, on-line play rocks!! Drawback: Get used to last-second flukes...they happen a ton in this game and it's really annoying sometimes. Don't be surprised if you're in the lead for the entire race up until the final seconds...that's when you get bombarded by about three things you can't dodge and wind up in 10th place.

I have been a Maio Kart fan since the Super Mario Kart first came out on the Super NES. Then I was a fan of Mario Kart on the 64. Then I was a fan of Mario Kart on the Gamecube. Now there is the Mario Kart Wii. Big selection of characters to choose from, great control with the Wii Wheel, all new power ups, tricks, tracks, carts and the motorbikes! The game makes really good use of the Wiimote. The graphics aren't that much better than the gamecube, but that really didn't bother me. The sounds are what you would expect from Mario Kart. Better yet, the Wii version is online ready! Join the WFC or play against a buddy over the internet. The WFC puts players against total strangers all over the world to compete.

Mario Kart Wii is one of the best family games out there for the Wii Console. The game comes loaded with many multi-player options (up to 4 players with battle mode, grand prix mode, etc.), great single play and last but not least online play...What separates this Mario Kart from it's predecessors is that you have to work to unlock additional hidden characters (Diddy Kong, Mii characters, King Boo, etc.) It's especially fun to unlock your own Mii characters which put your own Mii's in the game. Loads of fun for those who would rather be themself then the Nintendo branded characters...Also, instead of the typical use of a direction pad, you are now using the Wii Wheel (one comes per game, additional sold separately) which brings more excitement and realism to the game. The only missing piece to the game are the lack of peddles but then again that would add more cost to this already great title. In the end I'd like to say, if your looking for a title that brings you and your family together, this is the one. However, don't be surprised if you are not able to find this game on the shelf as they are flying off quick!

Well, this game is really great. New Maps. Old Maps. New Characters. Great Music. Wi-Fi enabled. Bikes. Now, about the Wi-Fi. It simply works great. It connects fast and, as far as I've seen, doesn't drop the connection. You can have two people connect at the same time from the same Wii Console in split screen mode incase a friend wants to play online. The Mario Kart Channel, which can be installed directly from the disc, keeps you up to date on any events such as world wide tournaments. For online matches, you don't have to wait for a certain number of players either. The game will just start with whatever you have at the time. One cool new feature is the ability to play as your Mii. The Wii controls take a little bit of getting used to, but you can always use a Gamecube controller if you don't want to use the Wii Wheel. Overall, I definitely recommend this game, especially for the online multiplayer.

Mario Kart Wii is an excellent game for new people, and fans of the series. It introduces the addition of bikes, air tricks, and most importantly online play. It is easy to jump in and play anyone in the world, and see how well you stack up againt the rest of the Mario Kart community. The wheel itself is no match for the original gamecube controller for seasoned Mario Kart racers, but is easy to learn and sure to appeal to new players. The courses look great, however most of them are repeat courses from previous games. There are now 12 racers instead of 8, and the number of items has increased as well. The AI still has a knack for messing you over near the end of every race, but this is something that has been in every Mario Kart game. This is a must own for every Wii owner.

this is the best mariokart game ever. i also like playing online with other racers.i loved having the wii wheel in Mario Kart Wii I think it made it a fun but challenging game the graphics where excellent the sound I must say has improved. I would recommend playing this game with the wii wheel because it makes it the most challenging and fun! I thought it was a grate improvement from the cramped ds controls and seemed to be a most conferable adjustment.This game brings racing to a whole new level. My mom will let me get an extra wheel so I can play with my friends. I definitly ENJOY THIS GAME and you will to!

I really don't know why I didn't get this sooner for my wii? if you own a wii and you have kids, you must buy this game...especially for good wholesome family fun...what a great game, it comes with the wii wheel. and of course the mario kart game...the graphics are what they are this is nintendo so don't get it twisted. the gameplay with the wheel is nice. easy to manuever and use. the levels of the game are challenging, a lot of characters to race with, great courses! great excitement my kids go whoa or wee! and to play with them that is what gaming is all about! thanks best buy and Nintendo!

I recommend this fantastic game! I hope you enjoy it. It is great! There are so many characters to choose from (Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Ghost(s),etc.) You can choose from many courses. There are lots of vehicles. You have the option for manual or automatic. During the course, you can collect items (E.G. Lightning) that will help you to win. There are obstacles, such as a bridge. One thing that's REALLY great: YOU CAN USE THE WII WHEEL so that it's like you're driving an actual car!!! Very realistic. I recommend it to anyone of any age. HAVE FUN WHEN YOU BUY IT!!!!!!!

Wow, I don't even know where to start off because there is so much to say... Well I have to say this game is so awesome when I tried the wii wheel I was like this is awesome and cool, I do think the gamecube controller has more control then the wheel. I unlock all the character within 3 weeks which is pretty good recently got Dry Bowser by doing all 150 wii cups getting star ranks. I love the idea of Wi-fi the Wi-Fi is really good it is so much fun to play people online!! My favorite character that I've been using is Luigi,Mario and Yoshi and Waluigi they been good characters 4 me. The unlocking for characters was easy I know there are 12 unlockable characters but there not hard. I have almost every kart but just gotta finish staff ghost so I can unlock the B outfit by doing that and the karts I don't got as well. I like that they had put 16 new course and 16 retro courses from other mario kart games those courses are so much fun. My favorite course from each cup are... Mario Kart Wii is a child's game that people over the age of 14 don't have to be ashamed to play and why shouldn't they be. It's fun to play alone or with friends, and there is a cool feature where you can play with anyone around the world who owns the game. You can play as almost all the classic gaming characters like Mario and Luigi and there are four different classes of transportation to choose from. This is all in your control with a small driver's wheel that is used through the Wiimote. In the game there are many diverse circuits, all based off of classic video games and consisting of these tracks are special items you can pick up along the way that send you speeding past the other cars or just slow the other cars down. So if you're a fan of simple games that are so easy they make you feel like you're good at something, this one is for you.

Ever since the first mario kart game came out I have loved playing each sequel and this one is no exception. There are plenty of characters and the 32 tracks will keep you playing for hours. Online is great in that you get to race your friends or anyone around the globe. The wii wheel may take some getting used to but you can use the nunchuck and remote together or even a gamecube controller if that works better. This game will not disappoint.

I think this game is one of the best video games i have ever played. Driving is fun with the help of the steering wheel. This game is fun for all ages. Online play is fun and safe because there is no lag. I love the choice of characters and vehicles that you can drive with. You can even drive with your miis! I highly recommend this game to anyone!

This is the best Mario Kart Ever!! It is so much fun to play. The tracks are awesome. It is fun to play on the old tracks that you know so well from the N64 and Gamecube. The new tracks are awesome, and some are a little challenging, but not that much. The wii wheel makes this game so much more fun. This game is awesome!!

This game is great. The online play is fun, but it would be nice if it allowed more than 2 players from the local Wii to go online at the same time. Also, this game is best as multiplayer but you can only unlock new karts and characters in single player mode. The wheel is very intuitive and makes the game more fun to play.
