Not had this dishwasher very long, but it’s doing a great job. In about 5 loads I’ve only had two pieces of silverware come out dirty. I’m not pre-rinsing and waiting several days before starting the cycle and they are still coming clean. It’s so quite, I question if it’s even running. I love the light that comes on when the cycle has completed, because with more than one in the household they know if the washer has dirty or clean dishes sitting in it. The third rack is awesome. The only thing I really wish was different is the silverware rack, it’s huge and is a solid piece; be nice if it was two racks so that you could take one out if it’s not needed for the load.

I wanted a dishwasher that didn’t have a manual filter and it’s not easy to find one these days. I was pleased to find this one. I also wanted a third rack and I love the configuration of this one. It holds large knives, utensils, and small glasses. With the third rack, this dishwasher holds a lot and all of the dishes come out very clean every time, no rinsing required, just scrape off the food scraps. It’s also incredibly quiet, except for some short periods of faint knocking sounds. The biggest disadvantage is the slots are so far apart that it’s hard to find places to put small plastic lids where they won’t fall through. Overall, I would recommend this dishwasher without reservation.

I bought this to replace a contractor-grade dishwasher in our new home. It has three racks, including a cutlery rack, and cleans well. The door is a little hard to open fully without some extra effort. The lower rack rolls back into place a bit aggressively. One must hold on to the rack until it is back in place. I cannot evaluate the dry cycle; I rarely use it. Very quite. I had to check to ensure it was running the first time I used it.

Very quiet - has 3 shelves - very well constructed - easy to operate - excellent job of washing and drying - like the looks of the exterior - stainless steel - the door to the dishwasher is a bit heavy due to the stainless steel. Nothing to complain about!!!

The dishes are so clean and I can put them in pretty dirty. Glasses are sparkling, pots don't have to be scrubbed first, plates don't have to be scrubbed. It is quiet and the buttons are easy to use. The third rack is very handy. I am using Drops soap (no plastic) and a Rinse Aid.

We've had the dishwasher for a few days now and we are pleased with the purchase. It is quiet, has a 3 rack system, stainless interior, and grinder for larger food particles. Really a great value for all the included features. I installed by myself, and the directions were very easy. I only give 4 stars because we've run just two cycles so I'm not sure what the long term durability will be. So far dishes are nice and clean.

My new Maytag dishwasher is replacing my 20 year old Maytag. The new one is so quiet and cleans really well. The third rack is so useful and expands the useable space. I love that the buttons are on the top rather than the front - makes it easier to clean/keep clean. Also that it show how long the cycle will be, how much time is left and the small light on the front showing that it's in process or completed. Love it!

I’ve had many dishwashers, the last one being the worst one I’ve had. So I was almost in disbelief at how well this dishwasher cleans. Everything comes out spotless, every single time, and on the quick cycle. The use of space is also fantastic. It fits into the same space as my last one but holds much more. The third rack is also very handy for smaller items. I absolutely love this dishwasher.

Love my new dishwasher! Never had a 3rd rack & use it daily. Good capacity; holds more than old dishwasher. It is SO quite; in a condo with living room next to kitchen/dining & no more loud noise while running! In fact it's hard to tell it is running. Excellent clean dishes every time. You won't be disappointed.

Love this dishwasher! It works quietly and easy to use. The third rack is wonderful addition. Dishes and cutlery come out clean and sparkling.

Was not big on the third rack before buying this, but boy do I love it. Lots of room and excellent cleaning of the dishes with minimal rinsing the dishes off. Very quiet and easy to run. Highly recommend this dishwasher!

The Maytag stainless steel dishwasher matches our other kitchen appliances. The outer door does not have a protruding handle, and is slick in appearance, with all the control functions on top. The three tier shelves/baskets are extremely functional. The top shelf handles all silverware, to include large cooking utensils, and other items. when in use the decibel level is Low and quiet. The dishes, pots, and pans, come out extremely clean. It is a major improvement over our previous dishwasher. I do not mind doing the dishes, they are easy to organize…

It's great. Tons of room with the 3rd shelf. Very quiet. Cleans everything very well. It does take surprisingly long to finish - over an hour to over two hours depending on the cycle.

I chose this dishwasher because of the third level rack, which is deep enough for cups, bowls, and utensils; and because of the promise of quiet operation. This machine is so quiet, I literally have to stand next to it and listen hard to hear it at all. The 3 rack system is awesome, those pesky utensils have a place to be and get clean, and the machine overall holds so much more than my previous one. I have given it a real “test” on the first few loads, dried on foods, unrinsed dishes, and all have come out beautifully clean, and dry!

So far so good- very quiet to run and does an excellent job cleaning the dishes. I love the third rack for smaller items. Very user friendly.

I purchased this October 13th and it was installed on the 17th. I am very happy with this dishwasher so far. It is pretty quiet and seems to do a very good job cleaning the dishes. My husband complained that I paid an extra $200 for the third rack I supposedly didn't need. Guess what? I wanted it, needed it and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

This dishwasher is amazing! It replaced a Bosch Ascenta which never did a good job. The third level is awesome for smaller items and anything that wont fit in the silverware basket. The best part is that the spacing on the racks it a bit more spaced out so larger bowls fit perfectly and there is enough space in-between so water gets in between everything to get clean. Ignore Consumer Reports on this purchase and buy this dishwasher! It is the best one we have owned so far...and very quiet!

So far I'm loving my new dishwasher from Maytag. It's very quiet. It washes the dishes beautifully. I love the racks they allow me to put in various items at different angles. It also has a very attractive face and finger prints and water drips do not show, so I don't have to wipe it down every time I open the door.

Very quiet. We love the 3 racks and the silverware bin on the side instead of the door. So far it cleans very well and is easy to operate.

Cleans great! This is the first dishwasher I don’t have to pre wash the dishes with. It’s also quiet and I like the simplistic design. It’s also nice having the top reach for small/shallow items like lids, small containers and utensils and the middle rack adjusts as well. The only thing I don’t love is the added rack causes the bottom rack to have less space for taller items like some pans, but still fits skillets.
