It works, and pretty quickly too. Normal dry setting is a little weak for heavy towels, so keep that in mind.

A plus is lots of drying options to select from. Wish they had kept the flat top rather than slant. If you do not want the dryer light to stay on while using the dryer you always need to select off with each load though I can see that having the light on while running would be a plus to one who is hard of hearing.
