The sensor is great on the washer. I've noticed that everything comes out dry on the first cycle (something I wasn't accustomed to with my old dryer).

This is just what we needed. The children love wash days now. The get to see their clothes dry, even at night (when the light turns on inside of the dryer). I love that it drys items effectively. Rarely requires a double dry. I have no complaints, so far.

We have decided to buy only USA branded appliances such as Maytag. You can tell the difference between Maytag and the other Korean branded appliances by the weight and how solid the Maytag brand is. Try to push the Korean brand types and you’ll see how easily they move then try to push the Maytag brand ones which is harder to budge. You get what you pay for!

The first one I received was grinding from the first time it was turned on. So, it was replaced. The second one was rattling, had a screw or bolt somewhere inside the unit that rolled and rattled, especially when the dryer was moved, and the vent pipe on the back was bent and misshapen so the venting was difficult to install. In addition, the front filter did not fit into the filter slot very well and had to be pushed down hard to get it to fit. And, while it's picky, the labels on the inside of the dryer with the serial number and the warnings, etc. were all haphazardly placed and bubbly. It looked like the thing was just slapped together as fast as possible. While waiting to return this dryer, I tried to use it. It spends a lot of time "sensing" the wetness of the clothes while it tumbles them. I don't even know what it's doing - I guess air drying them before the heat is turned on? More often than not, the clothes would not be dry after the sensor cycle was complete, even with the extra power button being utilized. Lastly, for it being 7.4 cubic feet, it seemed small compared to my old dryer that was 7.4 cubic feet. Large loads of towels filled it up, whereas my old dryer would still have plenty of extra room. Overall, I was disappointed with this dryer.

I've only had this dryer a short time but so far I love it! Takes a very large load or even a comforter and tumbles it dry with ease.

No issue with the dryer at all. Does everything it was purchased to do and more. I would also recommend the professional installation.

Large capacity! Dries clothes completely and fairly quick. So much better than my previous dryer.
