I bought the second generation eero system with the eero unit and (2) beacons. It has been absolutely fantastic. I now have WiFi range that I could not have imagined. My WiFi covers at least 50 feet from the nearest unit. My backyard patio, the front and side yards all have good coverage. Best decision ever. It was about $400 but it is worth it to me. I used to have WiFi that would fluctuate and drop very frequently. Now I have consistent speed and coverage. I highly recommend this system. This system was so easy to set up with the phone app.

Extremely easy to set up and use. Increased my WIFI speed and comfortably covers my entire home (just over 2000 sq. ft.) I got it on sale making it extremely competitive with all other popular WIFI mesh networks - the biggest negative from most review sites was it's price compared to others. The app is easy to use and provides additional functionality, including the ability to monitor devices, turn on and off devices and share with a guest/visitor. They do offer a paid monthly service for additional security and protect, but I have not added that service at this time.

We had a Nighthawk X6 for several years. We decided to upgrade to the X10 to see if we could get better coverage. There were still WIFI dead spots throughout our home even with the addition of several extenders. We went back to the store thinking we needed different extenders. After explaining our issues to the BestBuy sales associate, he suggested we switch to the eero mesh system. What a huge difference. We have no dead spots. It's the strongest WIFI signal we have ever had throughout our home. Install was very simple and the beacons look much better than the ugly wifi extenders. We highly recommend this system.

I had animations turned off in the Android Developer settings of my phone which caused the setup app to hang. I wasted 2 hours trying to figure out the problem and assumed it was with my cable modem. Found a reddit thread about this issue, and once I turned animations back on, the setup was able to complete no problem. Pros: Easy setup, good coverage, good speed, great configuration options Cons: Smartphone App required, no browser-accessible configuration available like previous routers

Let me set the stage. I have a 10-year old basic Cisco router, COX ISP with 150 mbps plan and a 1 and a half story house (to me its 3 stories.) Only 6 wireless devices on at a time. I recently purchased an OLED TV and wanted to stream Netflix at its highest resolution. Couldn’t be done with my router so I started to research routers and mesh systems. I also talked to Best Buy employees. And I spent time on each manufacturer’s website looking at product information but more importantly looking at their support pages. I eventually picked the EERO pro with 2 beacons. Could not be happier with my purchase. Great website support. It was easy to find answers to all of my questions. The app was also easy to use and had me up and running within 15 minutes. I placed the pro in a basement corner where my ISP cable came into the house. A beacon was placed about 40 feet from there, also in the basement to support the OLED TV. And finally, the last beacon was placed in the middle of the main floor. I now have max or near max internet speeds throughout our house. I’m now getting the speed I have been paying for. Prior to this my speeds ranged from high teens to mid-thirties depending on where I was in the house. I will say the units run rather warm in my opinion and could use some form of visible venting. Also the apps floor plan failed to work but I didn't need it for help on where to place the units. Highly recommend!

Through the years I have relied on Apple products for my wireless networking throughout our 3-story townhome. I am forced to update as we have moved but I wanted a simple, clean user interface and required a strong signal in our larger home. My better half constantly reminded me how our previous network was not adequate. Unpacking - simple and clean. Download and install the app. on your smart phone before you start doing anything as it walks you through the install (and does an incredibly simple and great job of it). Install and setup of the main hub took me all of about 5 minutes! As I was replacing an existing wireless setup once I had the system up and running all my devices connected automatically after entering the password. Setting up the Beacons took about 10 minutes, with most the time taken in selecting location so I would have a good mesh of the signal. Again, the App. walks you through every step, and lets you know if you have selected a good spot or if you might want to move a beacon to a different location for a better mesh. The App. is a thing of beauty, with all the information you need right at your fingertips. The stuff you usually want to customize (like the names of the Beacons) are customizable. Once I had all the Beacons set up I went through the house trying to find a weak spot or dead spot. Couldn't find one - not one! Also, a note about Apple products. I have read the other reviews that say the eero doesn’t work well with Apple products. I don’t know why they are having problems. My system has been up and running for about a month now with zero problems. And it stays connect rock solid to all manner of devices (about 16 I believe) including iPads, iPhones, an iMac, a MacBook Pro, a Smart Thermostat, a couple Apple TV’s, a Ring Smart Doorbell and three Ring cameras. Oh, and two of them do double duty as night lights. And the system has updated itself twice that I know of (I would only know as it would tell me after the fact).

The eero system has been an absolutely incredible addition to our previously awful internet setup. We pay for Fiber internet, but as we all know you aren’t going to get even close to 1000mb/s speeds with the equipment provided by your ISP. I have had my eye on a mesh system for quite a while. It was only a matter of convincing my wife. Luckily we got a Best Buy gift card from an appliance purchase, so I was able to use that as an excuse to finally pull the trigger. Setting up the eero was almost too simple. I kept researching to see if I was missing some steps in the process, but the setup is literally just plugging things in and doing a couple things on an app. Boom. Instantly my wireless speeds were through the roof, and our 2,000 sq. ft. home was completely covered. No more WIFI dead spots, no more buffering, no more “CAN YOU STOP STREAMING THE BACHELORETTE SO I CAN PLAY ONE GAME OF CALL OF DUTY WITHOUT LAGGING?!”, no more worries at all. This is just an amazing product. Mesh is truly the way to go with Fiber internet. You are wasting your money if you’re paying for Fiber, need to use multiple WiFi devices, and are not using a mesh system. It is a bit pricy, but it is worth every penny. eero made a winner with this one. I would absolutely recommend this system to anyone.

I have a 3100 SQFT home and opted for the eero + beacon model. I have the eero on the first floor and the beacon plugged in the hallway of the second floor of my house. I get great signal throughout my home even in the basement. All my TVs stream from the internet in order for us to watch anything as we are cable free. I consistently get 100Mbs internet speeds throughout my home using the eero. I also like the fact that I can manage my router through an app on my phone...I can see what devices are on our router, kick people off, put the kids on WiFi pause, and even when I'm not home, I can see what devices are logged into the eero which tells me who's at home and if anything is draining WiFi speed. All these features add up to a huge win for me, despite the cost of the system...I'm very happy with my eero home network.

We faced some obstacles setting this up (with our IPads and iPhones) but their customer service person walked my wife right through the process. She was very helpful. With these beacons, not only does wifi work on our porch, it works in my neighbors garage. It’s amazing how far the wifi reaches now. It was expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. I definitely recommend this product.

I settled on the Eero after a lot of research. It was easy to setup, less than 10 minutes, and everyone worked on the app. My WiFi coverage has significantly improved and I am happy with my purchase.

It was easy to setup on customers phone. Simple to teach her the network ap. Worked in the kitchen that was a dead spot for Comcast new router. Only problem was that it did not work with there existing router/modem. Had to replace with a cable straight modem. Then program this device as router. Should have bought one with four plug in range devices very pricy but it was simple and worked. Used same password and network name in old router and the devices on network auto configured themselves to the new router. Recommend doing this saved a lot of time.

Great wifi range. Set up was very easy. Easy to control what devices you allow on your wifi. Nice to see what is connected and what your internet speed is. Extra beacons are simple to set up.

I was skeptical about getting wifi to my bedroom for my smart tv from the family room with the EERO wireless wifi it made it possible. I would totally recommend this, it's so easy to set up.

I highly recommend this product. After years of continually updating wifi routers, adding network extenders, repeatedly updating firmware and reconfiguring, and systematically having to power recycle ... I finally have found a product that works well, delivers a uniformly strong signal, and does not require ongoing "tweaking" problems. Excellent product. Be prepared though, depending on the configuration of your residence, you may need more than 2 eero beacons (along with the eero base) for proper coverage ... which is not cheap.

This is an absolutely great product. We have some dead spots in our 2200 sq ft house and my kids would always come to me saying the internet is gone. We have many devices that fight for bandwidth so we got a high tier internet service but it doesn’t help much that we have dead spots in the house. I’ve been contemplating about getting eero for a while now and I thought now is as good a time as any. Delivery was super fast as promised. The box it came in was beat up and I thought there was no way the product would still be intact but nope it still looked good. The actual eero box was sturdy, kinda like the iPhone boxes. This set has a main eero that plugs into the modem and two beacons that plug in to wall electric outlets. Setup was super easy after downloading the app. The app guides you step by step on how to do the setup. Not one moment did I feel lost in the process. Once setup was done, the connection and speed was awesome all throughout my house. The app shows you the internet speed you have, what devices are connected, how active these devices are and the signal strength each one was getting. You can create profiles and put together certain devices under a profile that you can control such as holding internet for a period of time like homework or dinner time. It’s great for grounding, lol. You can also grant internet access to guests and instead of giving them passwords, they can just scan a QR code from your app and they’re connected. You can drop a device that was once connected to your network from the app. It gives you a quick look at the network status really easy - all through the app. Yes it’s worth the money for me.

Simple to set up, less than 5 mins. The eero itself gives you 2 Ethernet connections for your streaming device and whatever. Great range, no drop offs. The plugin has a nice night light you can custom schedule or turn off. No more looking for Wi-Fi signals, I have steady full coverage throughout! They update by themselves, and truly plug and forget. This is your first step into starting a smart home, great consistent Wi-Fi coverage.

This solved my long standing problem of poor internet coverage in our house. We had the Best Buy Geek Squad come to our home (free service) and do an assessment of what we could do to improve internet coverage. They recommended the Eero System with a base unit plus two beacons. We installed the base unit on the second floor where the internet service comes into the house and the two beacons on the first floor. We also have a finished room in the basement, and the coverage from the beacons on the first floor is great there as well. Our wireless internet NEVER drops out now. Prior the installing the Eero, we were losing wireless internet several times a day even on the first floor of the house. Our previous wireless routers had been installed on the second floor where the cable modem is located. We had tried several different brands that we had purchased and ones supplied by the internet service provider. None worked well. This Eero is great! Highly recommend.

THERE IS A GREAT NIGHT LIGHT ON THE TWO CORDLESS UNITS THAT I LOVE. CAN BE ADJUSTED. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. OUR HOUSE IS 2550 SQ FT. I BOUGHT TWO CORDLESS AND MAIN UNIT. ITS WHITE SO LOOKS GREAT IN THE WALL. SLEEK DESIGN. WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND. BB HAS PRICE MATCH SO NO CONCERNS FOR FINDING IT CHEAPER AFTER I BOUGHT IT. My family moved from an apartment into a larger home and were having tons of internet issues from dead spots to constant lagging and buffering from using multiple devices at the same time. We had enough and decided it was time for a new system and Eero was recommended to us. The setup was easy and the app is very user friendly. The system was up and running in a few minutes and we have never had issues since! Even with all is of using streaming services and online gaming at the same time we have yet to experience lag, buffering or any dead spots throughout the house. I highly recommend Eero for everyone's home internet!

I decided to try the new mesh system and it works out to be better than my old system even using my netgear flagship router .
