The geek squad member came over to advise about installing TV over fireplace. He could not provide any suggestions as it seems BB does not do it.

They took my appointment down and i described the scope of work i wanted in incredible detail. They arrived an hour past my four hour appointment window (i work nites so no sleep whatsoever). They then asked me what they were there for. I couldnt believe it! Then when i told them i wanted a Control4 consult and estimate including distributed audio and video they walked up and down my house and after spending an hour here they said they cannot help me. I was told i needed to contact someone from a magnolia design center. When i asked why i did not get someone from a design center to begin with (because they knew the scope of work) I was not really given an answer. VERY, VERY dissapointed and dissatisfied! I called University Audio out of Madison WI and received top shelf service. Never again will i ask Best Buy to help me again. I probably will not even buy blurays there any more dince they devalued their rewards program.

The 1800 Geek Squad needs some work. I called to schedule a free home theater consultation and the Agent on the phone kept me on the phone for a half hour. She seemed lost in space.

Rudy consulted my family and I about installation of a home theater system right at my future house. He was on-time and immediately went to work by planning several ideal locations for speakers to be installed in my living room and patio. Rudy gave us various options to customize the job to our specifications. My family is now even more excited to move into our new home!

One star is generous; he came to my house, promised to send suggestions that night, then sent nothing. I then contacted Best Buy 9 days later, and I still haven't heard back. Also, I was told I'd be called the day before with his ETA, but that didn't happen. Fortunately, this has cost Best Buy $500 in Sonos sales so far. More to come, I imagine, with TV mounts, a TV, and more Sonos. Nice job.
