It's great to have a 2-in-1 that functions primarily as a laptop and secondarily as a tablet. The feel of the entire system itself is nice and clean. The locking mechanism on the keyboard/monitor is solid. There are still issues with the updates as they've not completely fixed the battery drainage issue. Outside of that, it's great.

I was hesistant to purchase a surface book because of issues with them in some of the reviews I read, but it really had all the features I wanted (and then some), so I took the plunge but did add Geek Squad in case I got a lemon. So far so good. I am still trying to acclimate to the new windows, but I do like the touchscreen and the pen, and I find myself missing the touchscreen when I use other computers. It opens up rather quickly and I haven't had the issues of updates shutting it down in the middle of programs, but if I work on something longer, I will be sure to save frequently. My daughter borrowed it to take a programming class for pre-teens at the local Microsoft store and wanted to keep it for herself - it performed great for her.

Microsoft Surface computer with touch screen that can be separated from the keyboard to function as a tablet. It is an excellent choice if you are looking for versatility, excellent storage capacity in a lightweight computer. Although it is expensive, it is worth the cost.

I purchased the Microsoft - Surface Book 2-in-1 13.5 Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 512GB Solid State Drive - Silver and found it to be very versitale as it is a computer and a table in one. I like the sturdiness f the computer and the many features that the other surface products do not have such as the ability to turn the screen around and the key board so more like a normal computer keyboard.

Everything is working as expected, with one exception. The scroll pad stops working in Google and I can't find a fix. Otherwise, it works great. Size, weight, batter life, screen, etc. are all great.

The Surface book is the best notebook computer I have ever used or owned. It is sleek, attractive, robust, lightweight, and powerful. I have not even used all features yet such as the pen, but truly love the absolute versatility of the touch screen, true keyboard, ability to detach the screen and have a powerful full featured tablet/pad in my hands. Accolades to MS for a great product.

I wanted something as light as possible for travel, yet powerful enough to be a workhorse. This fit the bill and so far it's been great. I picked this because of the bigger screen, detachable keyboard and pen which were extra on the Surface.

I had bought this after using Lenovo laptops for years the last being X1 Carbon. I feel its a very good product but still lacks the reliability of Lenovo Thinkpad Series. It hangs a lot for the price I have paid. The convertible option is good and I have been using it both ways.

Must have the I7 you can see the power of the machine along with 16GB. To those who tell you that 8GB of Ram is sufficient are incorrect as a power user go for broke HDD of 512GB with a 200GB Micro SD Fits into SD converter.

Compared to my large piece of junk, this laptop is everything I wanted and more. It's got a great processor, graphics card, and more. Super lightweight and does not feel as flimsy as the Surface Pro. Highly recommend.

Great computer. Light weight, powerful. I use it with Photoshop and video editing software. (I have 16GB ram and a 500GB solid state drive). The only improvement I could see would be if it had a decent audio card.

Love this tablet/laptop combo. Just the right size, can hold it on my lap. Turning it into a tablet is a breeze, plenty fast for anything I would need on for mobile computing and even some gaming. Highly recommended.
