I purchased this laptop to use solely for school. I wanted it to be lightweight, fast, and able to do multiple things at one time without getting slow and crashing. It works pretty well! The only small complaint would be that there isn’t a ton of storage, but I use flash drives a ton so it doesn’t really bother me.

I purchased the Surface Laptop 2 to replace my aging Surface Pro 3. As much as I enjoyed my surface, I found that I rarely used it in tablet mode, so switching to the surface laptop was a great decision. It is extremely light and thin, and fits easily in my backpack between folders and textbooks. Its processing power is plenty sufficient to run web browsers, Office Applications, and MATLAB on a routine basis. The battery lasts long enough to use the laptop throughout the day without needing a recharge. My only complaint is that it does not have a micro SD slot like the surface. I can use an SD card using the USB port, but there's only 1 USB port on the laptop. I find that if I need to use anything other than the keyboard and the touchpad, I have to carry a USB dongle around.

Have had my Microsoft Laptop 2 for about a month and no issues so far. It is fast and functions as expected. The keyboard is smaller than I was used to, so took a little while getting used to it. I like the size, weight and portability. No complaints and if you get it on sale, it is well worth it.

I bought this for school and it is definitely worth! I love the how sleek and compact it is, along with how different it is with the material it is made of (although I sometimes get cautious about my fingerprints staining or anything else that may not wipe off). It is touchscreen as well, works fast, backlight keyboard, and there’s nothing confusing about to how to use. The clicking of the touchpad (actually pressing on it) is not weird either, like some laptops that feel like the whole pad is coming down with it. I am very particular about my keyboard buttons too (no stiffness or being really flat) so I am glad that was not an issue to the perfect laptop.

The Surface Laptop was recommended by a relative. I love the size/weight. It is easy to move from one location to the other. Love the speed. This laptop replaced an older one that I had purchased from Walmart. So happy that I purchased one this time from someone who knew the product.

I got this mainly for school/work and entertainment, and I’ve never been so happy with a laptop. Super lightweight, long lasting charge, great speed, and an incredible screen. I’ve had zero complaints thus far.

I was looking to replace my old laptop -- which was pushing 9 years old and was very slow. This Surface Laptop is quick, easy to set up, has Facial recognition and boots up in no time. It is light, and also sleek looking. My only complaint is that it has no ethernet port - but that can be resolved by purchasing a small docking station.

We purchased the Surface Laptop 2 because it has a solid and comfortable keyboard, the processing speed is great, and the screen size works well for our needs. Set up was easy and quick. It is light weight and easily transported.

Very fast; and keyboard is fantastic. Screen is really nice as well. There is a problem with wifi cutting out that is well known. It's the Marvell adapter. I rolled back to a 2016 driver though and it seems to have fixed the problem. I think it just doesn't play well with certain adapters.

I am so so happy with this purchase. I was originally looking at a MacBook Pro and the price is honestly ridiculous. This laptop does so much more and is same quality, actually I think even better. I am such a happy mama for buying this, I have nursing school coming up so I need a really good laptop to have on hand. So if you thinking of getting a laptop, GET THIS ONE!! You will be so happy.

This laptop was recomended to me from all persons i asked for recommendation.Its light, beautiful design, good life battery. The only problem is that i bought with small Ssd memory, and when i found out that my company requires devices with bihger storage, it was too late to return it.

Slim and sleek! Very lightweight and the texture of the keyboard surroundings is wonderful. The sound quality is great and I love the long battery life!

My wife is not a POWER technology person, but she was able to set this up and we are amzed at the diffrence in speed from her old HP Pavillion. For someone looking for easy of use, access to social media, photos and email it is IDEAL. We will add a Bluetooth Mouse just because she is used to a mouse but everyhting else she needs is there, setup and working and she did it without my help. A true test of how simple the inital setup process is! and she isn't complaining about speed, so a double plus for this machine.

Purchased this laptop for my son for college next year. Great overall laptop. Screen is very nice, laptop is decently speedy. Only downside is the small hard drive (128GB). But it should be a great daily driver for college classes.

This is so light weight its amazing. The backlit keyboard is very useful in dimly lit areas. The speed was a pleasant surprise. I would do this purchase all over again!

Pro: Decent camera, good screen resolution, ok keyboard, nice design/ look, lightweight. Con: unusable touchscreen, poor trackpad, low memory/ performance, WiFi Issues unique to device I was optimistic about the surface. Was hoping this would enable my wife to switch to PC from MacBooks, but the screen+ touchpad have proven too annoying. Mouse doesn’t respond, jumps all over, and doesn’t accept clicks well. Would like to return but past the timeline.

I've only been using the Surface Laptop 2 for about 2 months but it awesome! Very quick, lightweight, and easy to navigate. Very happy with my purchase.

This is the best laptop I’ve ever had. It’s fast, easy to use, and great for carrying around. Beautiful screen, display, and keyboard. Highly recommend this!
