Bought this laptop for my 9-year-old who homeschools he loves it the display is bright it is extremely fast and the battery lasts a long time highly recommended

Fast, sleek, excellent upgrade over Surface laptop 3. We bought this to replace a surface laptop 3 I had for several weeks but that had a screen issue that cropped up and needed repair. We returned that to MS under the return period and went to Best Buy to get this version. First off, the color is really really nice. Very sleek, professional, and just the right hue of blue undertone. Beyond that, this 11th gen version of the intel chip is noticeably faster than the i7 I had for a few weeks in the laptop 3. In fact, everything about this newest version in Laptop 4 is faster and more responsive despite the fact that the housing, trackpad, keyboard, screen, etc are effectively the same as the prior generation. The cost was debatable for us, as the laptop 3 had been on some sweet clearance deals but in hindsight I’m extremely happy we bit the gullet and bought this version instead of going with the laptop 3 again. Very very happy, strongly recommended.

Terrific and versatile laptop. Great keyboard, trackpad, screen and battery.

Best windows laptop, solid build. Really good material choice specially Matte black. Excellent cooling management only time I felt slight warm is during updates. I run a virtual desktop, coding, back and forth zoom meeting runs smoothly with 11thGen i7 impressive battery life I was able to get a whole day of work and watched some youtube as well. 100% recommended.

Lightweight chassis with excellent battery life. Windows runs fast and 16GB of RAM is the sweet spot to run multiple applications without experiencing lag. Has a great keyboard with adequate spacing so you don't feel cramped. The only downside is a single USB-A port and a single USB-C port - While a port expander can alleviate the issue, just one more port would have added a little more utility.

Great device. Partner has a first generation version, which I always liked. I had a surface pro tablet for 4+ years that just failed (battery died). This 4th generation is excellent, great speed, size & quality. Battery life has been good too. Black metal is elegant and easily to clean. Really happy with this so far.

Spilled coffee on my Surface Laptop 3 and it was acting quirky - had a big work trip coming up so I didn't want to risk it. I pulled out the stops and picked up this Surface Laptop 4 - I LOVE IT! It's light, fast, responsive and has an awesome screen. I paired it with my favorite Surface Arc Mouse too! Great combo!

When I bought the computer I bought it for a specific purpose. I wasn’t that educated in the knowledge of computers and such so running heavy program wasn’t really working for it. BUT, with simple things like typing papers and doing small scale graphics and programs like Adobe suite it’s perfect for! I just bought another computer for the heavier programs for my major but this one will solely be used for the lighter classes, which will make it run so much smoothly once i get rid of the unnecessary programs i downloaded into this computer. Overall, it hasn’t given me any problems with its expected use, and it’s so pretty and sleek! No regrets in the buy!

Over the years, I’ve used:owned MAC,, Dell, Gateway, and Hewlett-Packard laptops. I believe this laptop is my all-time favorite! It is so smooth and fast. I have not had one issue with it whatsoever. I’m not a gamer. Are use it for work, predominately, XL, spreadsheet, and Microsoft documents. Of course, I also surf the web watch, movies, and videos. It definitely is a favorite!

Microsoft did a great job with this one. It was purchased to replace my Dell XPS 15” that is extremely heavy and difficult to travel with. I was slightly hesitant that it could handle my need for it to run Autocad LT, Photoshop and InDesign, but it handles it like a champ. It’s light weight and quick. The minimal number of ports makes it necessary to use the docking station at the office, but not unexpected.

Overall extremely happy with the Surface 4 Laptop. It's well made design-wise. Not too heavy or too light as to feel cheap, very solid. It's snappy and responsive. The only downside to any surface is the lack of ports obviously, which they sell the very expensive solution too-Surface Dock 2-but otherwise its awesome.

Purchased to replace/upgrade from my old surface laptop. Very happy. Would recommend the surface laptop over the tablet version. I know I will get years of use out of it.

Love my new Surface Laptop 4. It has performed very well so far. It is compact and easy to handle. Love the color as I got the sandstone color. My accountant had gotten a new computer and was really pleased with it. I asked what she had purchased and it was the Surface Laptop 3. When I was ready to place an order the new Laptop 4 was available so I purchased this one. In the past I had always bought another brand but decided to go with the Microsoft laptop this time. Hopefully I have made the right choice!

Bought this laptop after a price match offer. It is definitely worth the price and I rate this pretty high as I compared its performance with other Dell and HP laptops. The sound quality is awesome along with picture quality. The external build is sleek and is easy to carry around. It's been a week now and I feel user experience is definitely rich. Make sure to check the ports, audio, driver updates before you start using. Keep checking for price matching offers.

Amazing laptop, microsoft's build quality is as good if not better than Apple's

The color shows every single fingerprint! But I love the display. Very quiet but gets a little hot when being charged and used simultaneously.

Beautiful design, and very light. Display is vibrant and battery life ranges around 17 hrs.

While it doesn't seem to have changed much from the Surface Laptop 3 based purely on the design aspect, I think it is the most functional laptop that I have ever owned. It doesn't slow down when there are too many tabs open, and it can handle a decent amount of gaming. If you are in college and looking for a laptop to do your work on, this laptop will do the job just fine. Plus it's rather portable.

This laptop has everything I ever wanted. The keyboard is great and the touch screen and mouse pad are so intuitive. No slowdowns and the new Microsoft OS is a fresh change. I Bought "Open box excellent" and it came perfect. Think the last owner didn't like the color, but the blue is beautiful and looks more silver. Best 1400 I spent on a laptop, glad BestBuy hasd so many sales this year.
