I bought this computer last September as a replacement for my surface pro 7 and it was a huge upgrade. I am a student and I needed something that could handle having multiple programs running at the same time while watching video lectures and this laptop keeps up with the workload really well. It doesn't heat up (unless you play games regularly, but even then it does not lag and satisfies the minimum system requirements for many games) even when I have 5-6 windows with multiple tabs open that I use everyday. I really like the slim desıgn and elegant shade of black. The screen is large enough to be able to use split screens comfortably, and I really like the multiple desktop function because it really helps me organize my workspace by having a separate place for my work files, school files, and personal things. The keyboard is also really comfortable to use because there is enough space to put your palms on so you can place your laptop directly Infront of you on your desk rather than push it back a little to be able to rest your palms on somewhere, you just need to wipe it every once in a while like any other device that you use. One thing that I wish this model could do was fold backwards completely, but the touchscreen screen is still really convenient when I am too lazy to move the cursor around with the touchpad/mouse. Its a really nice addition to my set-up and I am planning on buying a laptop stand to give it more height and work while standing as well. Satisfactory purchase.

For the price, I would have appreciated that the OS was a lot more stable. I have had to do a lot of leg work to update the appropriate drivers to prevent constant crashes. Outside of that, it works for what I bought it for.

I am very happy with this computer for my school needs.

You can't beat surface books when it comes to light weight performance.

This laptop is not as user friendly as my prior Surface. Having to open the device to turn it on when in a docking station is cumbersome. There other smaller issues as well.
