Microsoft - Windows 10 Home. I love it. It works great and gives me everything I need.

It is alright as an operating system. I do miss some of the old features of windows. The first version of windows I used was Ver 3.18. Very basic and couldn't mess it up. Could only do so much with it. I do miss DOS 7.0. That was the last version before Micro Soft bought them out and went from a program you run in DOS to it's own operating system. At least you don't see the blue screen of death like you use too.

Although I had Windows 10 already installed on my computer, I, being my own worst virus, fixed it so I couldn't add or uninstall anything. I couldn't even do a recovery. It's less costly to install a new system than it would be to have someone work on my computer or buy a new computer. The new install went very well. It was easy, and I had everything backed up, so I was quickly "back in business".

USB is the way to go. I've reinstalled Windows in quite a few PCs in my day. CDs can scratch and even get lost, or worse yet, backup for Windows can be hidden in a partition that isn't always as accessible as one would believe. This product reinstalled my Windows, and there were no hiccups. It was good to see things go so well -- for a change.

This was exactly what I needed after a 'bad hack' on my home pc.

I upgraded from Windows 7 to windows 10 with this product, keeping all my apps and files on December 14. The program removed the Microsoft security, as expected and installed windows defender - no other security software was affected. The upgrade took about 5 hours, including downloads of updates (note - one of those updates is the instructions for upgrading, another changes your options for selecting your privacy and security settings). After the final update was installed and the computer rebooted for the last time, I was allowed to sign in using my old Win-7 password. All my desktop icons and startup icons were present. Then came the demands to setup a Microsoft account to securely boot up, and then to set a PIN to securely boot up. I complied, and now when I boot my computer up, I just enter the pin. (I chose many of the options that don't allow Microsoft to track my usage or suggest ads, I figure that I can go back to local logon anytime in the future.) Only two glitches so far - one requiring reinstalling adobe reader when the version with Win-10 wasn't recognized by my browser, and one game which required changing the settings for direct-x and windowing the game in order to get it to run.

Soo dope. Thought I was gonna have to buy a usb thumb drive to get this program onto my gaming pc. But it was actually the whole software on a usb thumb drive already! I couldn’t figure out if this was a disc or digital version. But even better, what I wanted, a usb drive with the program on it. With the keycode include as well of course.

Best operating system ive used since XP. Easy setup

Windows has made such great improvements over the years. It's been a while since I have had to install Windows myself and the USB stick made this so easy. On a brand new machine with 16GB RAM and an nvme flash drive I think it took 10 minutes max to install. It took longer for the updates than to install

I was glad to purchase my Window 10, I have been putting it off for some time now. I love this Window it made me a better computer operator, with more offers than Windows 7. Love the way I can go back and view my work from the days before.

Can usually get this free if you've previously had Windows 7 or 8, but Microsoft detects that ownership through the motherboard of the computer it was previously installed to. If you no longer have access to that, or can't remember the ID from your previous version, you'll have to buy a new one. It is a great version of Windows, and I realize it was originally generously given out for free as an upgrade, but I still think MS could offer it at a little cheaper price.

Bestbuy had it in stock as I needed for a new pc that would not let me transfer windows license from a windows 8 original laptop(that upgrade to windows 10 after) which sucks but I tried. Quick install and license for life after buying. A little expensive though.

While I rarely use Windows10, being a Linux user, I needed a dual boot configuration on my pc. Reading reviews from other online retailers about bogus activation keys, I decided to try Best Buy and this product. II did a clean install on an SSD drive, installation was very quick and effortless via the USB stick, and activation of the license with the enclosed key was immediate. Delivery came as promised, and was quick. There was a curbside pickup option at a local BestBuy store if so desired.

If you're building a new PC (as in my case), or you're upgrading to the latest Windows OS, this is probably what you want to buy. It comes with a usb and product key for intallation on your system. I did not encounter any issues, and my system still runs fine with the Windows 10 OS.

I built a PC and needed an operating system. A usb drive for installation is included. My system recognized it without having to go into the BIOS. The installation was quick. I could have some some cash by going OEM, but it's good to have a copy that I can easily transfer to another computer if neeed.

Purchasing a new freezer went smooth and easy I got the freezer I wanted the delivery people were super no problems clean your mess up very courteous absolutely no problem with delivery or the sales people will purchase again from them

I found a good deal at Best Buy, especially with reward points. The product installation was relatively easy. I had an issue with my account but I was able to resolve this on my own. The microsoft support never responded to my inquiry. Overall, I do like the new streamlined windows 10.

It does work but the lack of instructions/manual is pretty surprising. If you aren't already proficient at installing an OS, particularly over an existing environment, this one might be a challenge for you. But, once you figure out how to do it, you have a working version of Windows 10.
