Such an improvement to the old Xbox 360 controllers! I love the new ones. They are so much nicer on the hands and more natural to hold. This set is great because it charges quickly (eliminating the need for disposable batteries) and the controllers hold charge very well. And if you're on a total gamer marathon, this cord is pretty long, so you can probably stay plugged in and play on while you're charging. :)

As many problems as I've had with Xbox one product breaking, the controllers seem to be sturdier than the mics. The controller feels good and performs well. The play and charge cord is plenty long enough to be comfortable during a gaming session, no need to sit forward or stretch your arms to be able to reach. Overall good deal. I recommend getting it with the warranty.

The XBOX One controller is as good as it gets. I've played the PS4 and the One and I have to say that the design of the controller is better than the PS4. It just feels more natural and the joysticks make more sense being offset from each other. It also has great battery life.

My wife got this for herself and has charged her battery only once, while I have replaced my batteries 3 times already. I am going to buy the kit down the road. Also comes with the cable needed to use the controller on a computer.

The xbox one controller is better than the 360. I love all the upgrades: like the charging cable and how it is compatible to most phone/camera/etc. connections. It is easy to connect and disconnect.

Great battery life. Easy set up. Would recommend to everyone getting a new XBOX One to purchase at least one of these controller for the ease of charging instead of replacing batteries..

The wireless controllers are a must have. Simple to connect. We never have to worry about battery changes. I will not go back to battery controllers after using this!

I've used Microsoft's XBox 360 controllers and fortunately, their XBox One controllers are just as, if not, better. Responsive, comfortable even after playing for hours.
I haven't timed how long a full charge on the battery lasts but I've gone through 3-4 play sessions (each about 2-4 hours long) before I get hit with the low battery warning.
I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but I've had some battery issues. I'll have the cable plugged in and sometimes, the battery won't charge, as if the battery wasn't there. Other times, it charges fine but after I power up the system and controller, I won't get any response from the buttons, sticks or D-pad. To fix this, I've had to remove the battery, wait a few seconds, put the battery back in, and then power on the controller. Then the controller finally responds.
It's a bit annoying but I'll take this first world problem any day. =)

I haven't found any other controllers that work as well as this one for my XBOX One. It's sturdy, and the battery pack lasts a long time on a charge.

You can't go wrong with this purchase, as you get the standard Xbox One controller, an official Xbox rechargeable battery that precludes having to deal with AA batteries all the time, and a cable to connect to the console so that you can be charging the controller while you play. The only drawback may be the need to be in close proximity to the console itself while you use it due to the length of the cable. I see that as a minor inconvenience, however, compared to the benefit you get.

5 stars, best controllers around. Everybody already knows this FACT.
Except that proprietary, tiny, little, easily bendable/breakable connector needs an update.
It sometimes tells me "Reconnect Your Controller", mid-game.
Also is difficult to plug & remove after several uses.
My 2 minor issues/complaints:
1. These do not last as long as the older models, including the XBox 360 controllers. The left thumb stick seems to become somewhat loose & less sensitive within just a month, whereas the original that came with the console took 3-4 months to "feel" degraded. I play a LOT of Call Of Duty, so I do wear them down!
2. Need. Wired. Where is the (official) WIRED controller?!? You can see and FEEL the "lag" when going wireless. Some say plugging the controllers in via the USB adapter cord is the "same as wireless", but if we're being honest, it is NOT the same. When I bought an XBox 360 WIRED controller, it worked so good, I never went back!
Over the years, I have noticed a difference between these standard, black, plain controllers, versus the specially designed "theme" controllers, in that these definitely last longer. The fancy versions look great, but that degraded feeling kicks in what seems like within the first week.
This is the best... for now.
GOOD: It's great, almost perfect.
BAD: That tiny connector. Wears fast. Not as good as wired.
